Welcome to the D'arcy Suite, our most opulent apartment with over 700 square foot of luxury, and with air-conditioning for those hot summer nights.
This fabulous apartment, set within a 16th century building is blessed with oak beams, high ceilings, uneven exterior and lots of original features. With a handmade, superking - four poster bed, this apartment is a real treat for those wanting to relax in luxury, space and comfort. It is most popular with honeymooners and special occasions, alike.
The centre of the bedroom homes a free standing copper bath and 65" flat screen tv. Just the place to unwind and have a soak underneath the huge crystal chandeliers before relaxing on Egyptian cotton bedding.
The lounge area comprises of French style sofa, 55" flat screen TV, an original 16th century fireplace and views of Maldon High Street, All Saints Church, and the Town Hall. The beautiful sound of the town bell chimes on the hour and you can hear the hustle and bustle of the towns people outside. This apartment could be described as a little quirky or even whacky with its various sultry colours, unique accessories and wall art. Certainly different from anything else in the area.
Enter the kitchen and you can sit and eat at a handmade bench with copper top table. You'll have all the utensils and crockery to cook any meal of your choice. We can accommodate many special requests, including champagne, chocolates, balloons for those special occasions to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
The D'arcy Suite also comes with a shower room and a small balcony which faces the courtyard, and is on the second floor of the Kings Centre.
We've housed many special guests in the suite including Jessie J (singer), and Married At First Site UK (MAFSUK) was also filmed here.

Location is everything and you have everything right on your doorstep being on the high street in this busy little town, which is quiet during the week and comes alive at the weekend. There is a bar / club across the road, and at the weekend closes around 1am. So if you are a light sleeper, or do not like outside noise this may not be suitable for you. We do warn all of our guests that being on the high-street and in the middle of a busy town, this isn't a quiet little retreat if that is what you are looking for.

Summary: As soon as I saw the D’arcy Suite online I knew had to book it. In reality it was even better than expected, everything has been thought about in this apartment. Such a nice room for a real treat.

Summary: The stay was very easy. We walked up at around 2.15, check in time, the door was open ready with the keys for us and we were left to it to enjoy the room and enjoy Maldon. The apartment was spotless! We loved the little personal touches with the heart left on the bath mat, rose laid on the bed, chocolate and water left on the bedside, complementary coffee, cereals, jams etc. The bath was just stunning. We e joyed that and then getting in the robes after. Maldon is beautiful aswell.

Summary: Loved the level of comfort and attention to detail. To be able to have a long soak in the copper bath before a perfect nights sleep in the super king sized bed with beautiful, crisp bed linen was bliss. Loved the boutique hotel feel but with the space and privacy to just hang out if you didn’t fancy going out for the evening. We didn’t want to leave.

Summary: Second time staying in the D’arcy suite. Superb customer service and communication before, during and after. Immaculately clean and comfortable. We had some lovely meals in the high street. 10/10 again. We’ll be back!!!

Summary: Personally for my age, it was very convenient that we had a lot of pubs and bars local as it encouraged us to go out and enjoy ourselves alongside our stay. I also enjoyed the bath facilities as it was relaxing and was a new thing between me and my partner. Having a living space was very useful as it allowed my partner to relax fully asleep and I got to enjoy the space separately. Finally I also thought the staff were second to none, very kind and thoughtful as well as polite.
