Summary: It was everything we hoped it would be! A stunning property in every sense! Space, location, amenities ( fabulous pool ) A short walk to Venta Teresa, a remote but well patronised, authentic Spanish tavern, where we dined on the best paella. My children and partners, grandchildren & myself have memories that will live with us for a long time. The hosts were so detailed in all dealings and helped in so many ways. Summary: We had a lovely stay at this amazing villa. The view is incredible and we enjoyed the layout of the property very much. The pool was used every day by both young and old.Minor issues were resolved at once by the owner or gardener or hostess.

Summary: We have just spent a wonderful two weeks at this beautiful villa. The house has everything you might need and is immaculately clean. Xixona is only a short drive for supermarket supplies. The outdoor space is huge with stunning views. We only really used the villa to sleep in, spending our days in the pool and on the terrace, cooking and eating in the outdoor kitchen and playing games on the bacony in the evenings. When we did finally retire for the night the beds were really comfortable and the villa cool despite the high daily tempertaures. We loved watching the swifts flying from the mountain behind us and skimming the pool and also saw birds of prey soaring above. We enjoyed late night, pool lit, swims with the twinkling lights of Alicante in the background. We drove out to Alicante for a couple of meals and to El Campello to see the beach but was always keen to return to the villa. From the moment of booking the owner was reassuring and informative and the neighbour who looks after the property was friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Thanks again for letting us share your amazing villa and we hope to be back one day soon.

Summary: We've spent a week at this beautiful place not far from Xixona. The house is amazing and has everything you need when on holiday. Everything here has been done with lots of love and gives you a homely feeling. The outdoor area has spectacular views and it's been such a pleasure to spend evenings sitting on a terrace. Even when the temperature is more than +30 the house stays cool because of lots of airflow. The open kitchen area with BBQ is very good as well, we cooked outdoors almost every day. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful (big thanks to Joan)! The house is perfectly located and you can enjoy the mountain and the valley views without going anywhere. Although, I would highly recommend local hikes if you are a nature lover. There are some hills to climb, but it's really worth it. Once again, thank you very much Michele and your family for sharing your beautiful house with us! I hope we will be back one day!

Summary: We booked this property for a birthday celebration. There were just three adults staying, so we benefited from having so much space. The house is very well equipped (three double bedrooms - two with en-suites - and two sofa beds in the hallways). So we were lucky to have a bedroom each - all of which enjoyed great views from the front of the house. The house benefits from being incredibly private - surrounded by mountains and with views of the sea and Alicante in the distance. However it wasn't totally isolated - if you needed help with anything, the nearest neighbour, Jean, who lived further down the road, was always happy assist. There is some very comfortable outdoor furniture at the front of the house to have breakfast and there is also a further larger table that seats 12 complete with a wind-out canopy by the lovely pool to enjoy lunch. We loved eating outdoors under the stars with the lights of Alicante glittering in the distance. It's worth visiting the local restaurant, Venta Teresa, which is about 10 mins walk from the house for some honest, home-cooked food. The people are so lovely and always make you feel very welcome. They will also cook you one of their special paellas, and even deliver it to the house if you give them some notice. We tried lots of restaurants, and they were the best in the area. The house is in a very good location for day trips and is about 40 mins drive from Alicante. It was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and we very much hope to return.
