Summary: Most amazing location and set up to truly unwind and follow the sun around from dawn to dusk. Very quiet, vineyards and sunflowers all around, with the most amazing sunsets. Summary: This truly is a fabulous property. Large airy rooms with high ceilings and bags of character. The views are breathtaking and the heated pool was a great hit for everyone. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area and everyone was so friendly. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay there again.

Summary: A lovely spacious property with heated safe pool. We had a lovely two week holiday at the property but it was a little too remote.We could not walk or cycle (very very hilly)to the local village to pick up nice fresh bread for breakfast as we expected to do.We had to drive everywhere. Views and sunsets were amazing and it was truly a magical and safe place for our grandchildren .We had lovely evening walks through the fields with them. Quiet and peaceful setting. Fred was the perfect host very easy to contact via e mail.

Summary: We had the most wonderful holiday in this superb villa. If you are looking for a beautiful setting, spacious comfortable villa, gorgeous pool in an ideal location; I would definitely recommend Fongrive Haute. It is quiet and seems like you are in the middle of nowhere yet it is only a very short drive to a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, butcher, restaurants etc. It's a great base to explore beautiful surrounding areas, markets, chateau's, and near lots of interesting sights. We even jumped on a train to Bordeaux for a day which took 1.5 hour. There was plenty of entertainment for adults and children at the villa for relaxing days. Fred and Sue have thought of everything and you will definitely get a very warm and welcoming feeling from the moment you book. Thank you Fred and Sue for such an amazing holiday and allowing us to stay in your home. We will definitely be back!!

Summary: This was a fantastic villa in a beautiful part of France surrounded by stunning views. The property is extremely well-equipped for a rental property and we would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody keen to visit this area. It was a large villa with a great pool and garden and is ideal for a group or family visit. The owners were great at providing all information needed for a very enjoyable stay. We hope we might return some time in the future.

Summary: 14 years of renting Villas in France. Fongrive beats them all. Absolutely fantastic views 360 degrees. Quiet country road with the odd passing tractor. Set in majestic countryside overloookng rural France. Fields of sunflowers and vines. The house is perfect, large kitchen/dining area. Well appointed. Spacious and elegant bedrooms and living room. Evening sunsets on spacious south west facing patio / veranda. Great pool which was one of the cleanest ever with easy access Roman steps for the kids. Definitely coming back here again. 10 out of 10

Summary: The house is really beautiful, situated in a panoramic position on the hills, very well equipped. The owners are very kind and available to solve every problem. We had only one difficulty due to the weather conditions, since in early May it was unexpectedly very cold (3 degrees Celsius at night!). The owner had warned us that in that season it was not possible to turn on the heating, but there was still a fireplace, nevertheless it was not enough to heat the house, especially at night. But the situation was so welcoming and pleasant that we did not suffer too much for that!
