Positive: Location was perfect and within close proximity both buses and trams. Suburb had a trendy trendy atmosphere with a varity of restuarants.

Negative: A little cramped although manageable. But our landlord informed us that he was undertaking improvments.

Positive: Terry's place is perfectly situated in Surry Hills, just a couple of minutes stroll from the Bourke St bakery, and a fab cafe, Cafe Kentaro. All the other restaurants are nearby and Surry Hills has a really friendly village vibe to it (and some great old buildings). We ventured slightly further afield on Lime bikes, and the L2 tram into the city is only a 2 minute walk away. Terry is knowledgeable not just about the Surry Hills but all of Sydney. We followed his recommendations for things to do. He couldn't have been more helpful. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor. You may notice there's a busy underpass just across the street but you are never aware of it, and certainly don't hear any noise from it. The bed was comfortable. And the ensuite bathroom has a great shower. He's even managed to fit in a small kitchen so you can cater for yourself if you want to. But with all the local restaurants and cafes nearby, we didn't bother.
