3 Bedroom Apartment in Upper Town, Ixelles

Spacious 2 bedroom duplex on the ground floor of a charming house, typically Brussels with a garden on the street side and a small private garden at the back of the house. The house is located very close to the European Parliament and the Museum of Natural Sciences.
The apartment has just been completely renovated and comfortably furnished.
It is located 200 meters from the 'trendy' square in Luxembourg and 300 meters from the Place Jourdan where there are many activities and restaurants, supermarkets and small local shops open at night. Very important communications node.
Possibility of adding an additional bedroom in the basement (typically Brussels), just adjacent to the apartment and where can comfortably accommodate 2 additional people, with cable TV, separate individual WC and double bed.

The additional room is optional (30 € / night) but compulsory for groups of more than 7 people. Payable in cash upon arrival.
The price decreases according to the duration of the accommodation and the price is planned for 2 people, supplement of 15 € / night per additional person.
It can perfectly suit a group of friends, large families (possibilities to accommodate 8 to 9 people) wishing to meet for exceptional events or to visit Belgium, a group working with the nearby European institutions.
Also ideal for expatriate families (special prices on request) looking for long-term accommodation for installation. We could also gladly help you in this process given our knowledge of Brussels).

We have two parking spaces 180 meters from the house that we rent each with an additional € 10/24 hours if necessary.

Summary: The apartment was very beautiful and had a small garden to sit and relax in between the busy centre, directly next to the European quarter.We felt very comfortable and Caroline is very friendly and helpful.We could imagine that we returned one day.

Summary: We loved our stay here. Beautifully decorated and in a great neighborhood. Caroline was easy to work with and was attentive to our needs. We were able to drop off our luggage early before check in so we didn’t have to carry it around with us - amazing! Would highly recommend!

Summary: We had a great stay at this lovely duplex in Brussels. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, and the host was incredibly helpful in securing parking for our van. There was a bit of initial confusion—we had expected three private bedrooms within the main apartment not counting the sleep Sofa, but the third was located upstairs and required a small additional fee. In the end, everything worked out wonderfully, and the space suited our needs. The location was also perfect, with the Tootbus hop-on hop-off stop just a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at the flat. We arrived at separate times due to flts, I checked in first at a prearranged time with Christine. Since I read the full listing I was aware of the tax and the additional cost of the third room and person and through my correspondence arranged the additional payment upon arrival. The set-up is unique, and suited us. As the early riser I stayed in the room next to the kitchen since I would be the one making coffee first, my sister arrived last and stayed downstairs. My adult nephew stayed in the extra bedroom, up the stairs from the flat. We had a slight screw up when we accidentally locked ourselves out, Christine was responsive and saved us within a very reasonable timeframe. We were very thankful. The area was quiet and woke up to birds singing. That said also walking distance from all the upper level sights and very close to transport. We stumbled upon a lively area with many restaurants including one serving moules, was very fun. We also followed some local recommendations, which we enjoyed.

Summary: We had a great stay. Communication with the host prior to arrival was excellent, and they were very helpful. Pictures were very accurate, and the building was clean and secure. Location was outstanding, and it was within walking distance to everything we were looking for (shops, restaurants, sites, etc). Internet was high speed and reliable

Summary: If you want a charming, traditional European row house you got it.Beds are full size, and quite creaky. Not a big deal, just be aware that they are not premium beds or bedding. House was very clean.Be sure to ask for shampoo and soap upon checking in, we didn’t have any. Also the laundry in the listing is actually shared laundry in the basement. We couldn’t use it because it was in use each time we tried.

Summary: Be careful with the number of rooms indicated!! Unfortunately, it is mentioned multiple times, and very prominently, that the property has three bedrooms, but this information is incorrect. You have to look in the fine print of the description to find out that the third one is optional. What a bad surprise upon arrival, and what a disappointment during discussions with the owner. Be careful!
