The country house looms up from the country lane. Impressive, stately and luxurious. White-washed walls with friendly yellow-framed windows. The building is built in Spanish style with the best materials and great attention to detail. Very well insulated, so cool in the summer months and easy to heat in the winter period. There is an impressive salon of 56m2 with fireplace / air conditioning and a beautiful high beamed ceiling. The whole is furnished with solid furniture and the country house has been decorated with great care. The large windows offer a breathtakingly picturesque view of the Guadalete River. A large kitchen diner with all necessities, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, etc, offers the possibility to cook yourself. You can also use the meal service. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, we can arrange it all for you!
Each bedroom is spacious with a spacious luxury bathroom and built-in antique wardrobes. Each room has a large double bed or single beds. One bedroom even has 2 beds of 120 wide, which could also sleep 2 people (they are represented as single beds). The house is equipped for 18 people and there are 2 extra additional beds available. You can also use a nice baby bed.
If the group is larger, then we can also accommodate 6 extra people in the adjacent holiday home with swimming pool. The cottage has its own swimming pool, garden, kitchen, living room and has 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom for 2 people and 1 bedroom with 2 x single beds and 1 x bunk bed. So in total there is room for 26 people.
There is a game room with a football table and a pool billiard. The saltwater swimming pool is beautifully situated among some trees surrounded by a green lawn and beautiful views over the rolling landscape. There is a large terrace with a roof where you can lounge. BBQ is of course also available.
Puerto Serrano is a white village that lies against the Sierra de la Grazalema nature reserve where you can make beautiful walks. You can also do other sports there such as climbing, canoeing, canyoning, paragliding, cycling, horse riding, etc.
The beautiful beaches of Cadiz and Puerto Santa Maria are just over an hour away. Closer by, a half-hour drive away, you will find fine, child-friendly beaches by a large lake in Arcos de la Frontera and Zahara de la Sierra. And of course you can also cool off at the river, a 5-minute walk from the mansion.
The cities of Seville, Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz are also within easy reach. Even Granada and Cordoba are among the options for a day trip.
The airports of Seville and Malaga are the closest. Car hire is not expensive in Spain and we can also arrange a taxi from Seville airport.

Summary: Property is not super luxurious as listed but run down shabby and tired. Kitchen became a health hazard due to infestation of rats and mice. Scenery surrounding is stunning, location and pool area good. Property requires major investment to bring up to an acceptable standard.

Summary: We stayed here as a family group of 12 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had their own bedrooms and bathroom and plenty of space. Beautiful location and place, the pictures don't do it justice. A really nice place to chill out, and the stars were so bright in the evening ☺️ Great communication with Jacco, and very quick responses to any questions. The water is luke warm which didn't bother most of us in the summer heat.

Summary: It was amazing - the views were fantastic! The kitchen needs upgrading- although it met all our needs some items were very old and chipped and chairs needed attention Bedrooms were great, cool and comfortable however the plumbing needs attention shower hoses did not work but able shower It met our needs but with a little more attention it would be 5star

Summary: We stayed at the villa in early April when the wildflowers were out in force and everything was green. The views from the villa are absolutely amazing and there are several outdoor sitting spaces to take advantage of this. Inside there are 2 huge picture windows that frame the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is huge and well equipped to serve large groups. The "great hall" (which is the only way I can think of it) has a fantastic fireplace and plenty of seating, plus a dining table. The couches and chairs are comfortable. The bedrooms are all ensuite, which was a luxury, with comfortable beds and AC/heating in each. The location is perfect, close to the restaurants and shops in Puerto Serrano and within an easy drive of Seville, Jerez, Cadiz, Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera, Olvera and more. Puerto Serrano is also the start of the "Green Way" (Via Verde), a bike and hiking path that was lovely. I'll mention that some rural houses in Spain have sewer systems that cannot handle flushing toilet paper - this is one such house (you dispose of your TP in a garbage can in each bathroom). I agonized over whether to give the villa 4 or 5 stars because I truly loved the house, the location, and the outdoor spaces, but there were several minor maintenance issues in the house (bidet and a toilet not working, light bulbs burnt out, etc) that we felt should have been caught before we arrived (and I'm sure will be quickly fixed). I'm still thrilled to have rented this villa!

Summary: 8 adults and 4 grandchildren had a marvelous week. Lots of rooms and lots of room inside and outside. In or not in the sun. Spacious well aquiped kitchen. A save an well kept pool. And the view all around is superbe. The owner Jacco mad us feel at home and turned out to be a good cook and host.

Summary: This house and the setting is unbelievable, the pictures don’t do it justice. Stunning house and gardens with an incredible view. There were 13 of us and it was perfect so much space, we had a really relaxing and fun time. Jacco was really helpful and great at communicating. I would highly recommend for a relaxing week or weekend away with friends or family!

Summary: A lovely, large and characterful house set in attractive grounds with a beautiful pool area and fantastic views. Lots of entertainment for the children - table tennis, pool, table football, archery, pétanque etc. Air conditioning and fans everywhere. A very special place.

Summary: We spent one week in property and we enjoyed it a lot. We were group of 16 people (8 adults and 8 kids) . The house is very spacious and decorated with style, many bathrooms and nice pool and patio to spend evenings🙂 The contact with the owner was great. She was quickly answering the e-mails. We got a lot of recommandations and "things to do" tips. Thanks to Riet we could also taste local wine (sherry) and not worry about groceries at arrival . She was very helpful and willing to made our stay as good and comfortable as possible. I definitely recommend this location.
