Positive: The property is aptly named. The view at sunset is everything.

Negative: 1. Bed in primary bedroom is too high. View is great, but climbing up to an elevated bed is uncomfortable. 2. 3rd bed looks elegant, but needs a new mattress. The one there now is lumpy & uncomfortable.

Positive: We enjoyed a 16-day stay at this comfortable residence. The owner/host outfitted each room with everything we needed and included many thoughtful items that ended up being useful (mixer, water filter pitcher, baking dishes, condiments, extra throws, blankets, pillows, etc). A couple of issues popped up and owner/host was responsive and helpful. It truly felt like home away from home. The view from the back of the house is awesome—what a treat!

Negative: The wifi is a little weak at times but not bad enough to be an issue.

Summary: This is a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Positive: The view from this home is unparalleled! You have a beautifully clear shot of the city and golden gate bridge. The owners have beautifully designed the house with gorgeous art and very comfortable lounges. The home is spacious and welcoming.

Negative: The water takes a bit to warm up and the bathrooms are a little dated but certainly not close to a deal breaker when choosing a place to stay in El Cerrito.

Positive: The view and location is great. Very spacious. Kitchen and dining area are amazing. The balcony area feels good.

Negative: Description said 4 bedrooms, it's actually 3. Lighting and light switches inside are awkward. Couches are ok, the one in the living room moves too much. The wifi is decent. The bed in one of the bedrooms creaks too much and the mattress was shallow. I actually woke up with back pain.

Positive: Spacious inside with balcony with great views and also a patio. Very comfortable beds and sofas and nicely decorated. All the appliances you could ever need too! A warm welcome and helpful suggestions too. A very convenient location for visiting the Bay area without being in the density of the big city vibe or the fog on the coast. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Negative: A little organizing of the kitchen cupboards would not hurt... otherwise everything was great.

Positive: The location and privacy are exceptional! Very beautiful place with tasteful furniture. A lots of space! Granite countertop, natural wood dining table, fire place and more… - that gives a lovely energy for the place. We were visiting friends in the area. It was perfect to stay in El Cerrito in the Sun Set view apartment. We used Maine bedroom bead and it was very comfortable- natural cotton super white bead sheets, super soft pillows- very welcoming and crispy clean.

Negative: Please double check bathrooms for exceptional cleanliness.
