Positive: Beautiful venue. As host I stayed in the basement bunk room - not a great mattress for me. A wonderful place - well equipped and provisioned. Thank you.

Positive: The property was ideally situated 15 minutes from Santa Fe, very private, with a gorgeous deck with views of nearby hills and mountains in the distance. The house itself had plenty of room for 5 guests, which was nice. Finishes in the kitchen were fine, with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, glasses, etc. There were ample towels, pillows, blankets, etc. The deck had ample nice patio furniture.
Negative: The the house was only acceptable - old, tired, and definitely not luxurious in any way. The upstairs AC didn't work (and must be known by the mgmt, as evidenced by the 5 large fans available in the hall closet), and so it was uncomfortable. We were all hot. The annex tv/play room was much too hot to use at all. The downstairs stayed cool, but the AC ran non-stop the entire stay, which was a little worrying re: overheating. There is an issue with electricty on the deck; several guests were shocked - wiring needs to be checked. There was apparently no WiFi, and inquiries about it were not answered by Kokopelli. There were no instructions left for use of the house, checkout, use of electronics or anything else (trash, etc.), so we did what seemed appropriate upon checkout. The house needs to be exterminated - we encountered many spiders. At $1000/night - no bueno.

Positive: The property is lovely with gorgeous views. The home was well appointed and spacious enough for two families to all sleep comfortably. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms etc. Appreciate the laundry on site and the covered parking. Stylishly decorated with modern touches.
Negative: Some instructions could be clearer. Lots of emails and messages that still instruct you to come to the property management office to pick up keys. Only one email stated not to follow those directions. One email attachment that had information about where to find the key at the property. There was no other information that instructed you about where to find the keys to access the garage for the garbage and recycling. I sent an email and never got a response to my question regarding trash. Had to call the emergency line to find out. The garbage disposal has a leak. I emailed and informed the emergency line but no response. The vacuum cleaner does not work so we were unable to tidy up the sand that fell out of the shuffleboard game.
Summary: We had a lovely stay and would recommend this rental to others needing a large space.

Positive: Floor plan was perfect. Lots if room for everyone to be together or for some quiet time. Views were amazing, deck and fire pit fun. Would definitely stay here again.
Negative: No warning was given that the road and driveway was muddy, icy and snowy. One of our cars had to be parked at bottom of driveway and we had to carry up all the luggage and food. Didn’t find a snow shovel until the next day. Rental agency did send up a snow plow for us the next day so that was helpful. Fortunately we had bought a plastic one at Walmart. Didn’t find a toilet plunger until day 3 but we needed it in day 2.
Summary: One of our best family vacations!
