Summary: Absolute waterfront is correct but not so important for our stay in winter and we only managed to get free to air tv reception for about half an hour on the second day after confirming the operating instructions with our host. We reported these issues to our host plus other issues such as faulty bedside lamps, a new shower rose falling out of its cradle. Cleanliness was only average with dust found on lower surfaces (skirting boards etc), kitchen light fitting full of dead insects, front door lock buttons temperamental (difficulty entering access code buttons on old lock). Considering the premium price paid we were looking forward to a better experience. For example there was only enough milk in the fridge for one cup of coffee so it would have been nice to have been provided with at least a litre of milk for a two night stay. It was icy cold in the bathroom so one of those light/heat/fan units certainly would have been appreciated.

Summary: The location was great. The cottage was tidy. Unfortunately the dust was overwhelming.. Opening the windows did not help, due to the curtains were holding alot of the dust. I had alot of breathing and sinus issues due to the dust. The deck had so many spiderwebs. Going by the guestbook. The last people stayed in the first week of jan 2025. I thi k that was the last time it was cleaned. Not impressed with the dusty conditions.Whole place could use and update and a paint.
