Positive: Proximity to train station, night market, food stalls. Spacious room with window (though view was pretty standard for Chiayi, we needed the light). Breakfast coupons and free snacks were an unexpected nice touch. Nice amenities. Friendly staff despite limited English.

Negative: Nitpicking here, but street frontage not desirable as was on the second floor of a multi-use building. Room was mostly clean, but shower had definitely seen better days.

Positive: The room and bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was amazing! We liked the breakfast vouchers, the restaurant where you can use them had lots of choices and the people who ran it had some English and were really lovely. Within walking distance of Chiayi train station (about 10 minutes) but note it would be a bit tricky to do with large luggage as lots of motorbikes block the pathways along the roads.

Negative: My sons didn't like it that the bathroom had only slightly frosted glass or even windows to the rest of the room! Thankfully the room with the windows had blinds for privacy.

Positive: Excellent location. Within 10 minutes walk to the Chiayi train station. For those using HSR, the shuttle bus also stops within a couple of minutes walk to the hotel. Lots of convenience stores around - which was also great. The hotel room was reasonably priced, and clean.
