Positive: The bedrooms were a good size. It was a cheaper option.
Negative: Very dark and dingy. Not very spacious in kitchen or living area for 14 people. Upon arrival we couldn’t access the key as had been given the wrong code. Lots of cobwebs, didn’t feel clean. Dishwasher was full of dishes when we arrived. Facilities stated barbecue and I messaged before we arrived to ask if it was gas, no reply. It wasn’t and was a tin bin, but the garden was full of horse manure so not really somewhere you want to cook food. Lots of flies. Would not return or recommend.

Positive: Huge property - well equipped for large groups. Quiet and nice area - great alternate to lakes accommodation.
Negative: Didn’t need the top floor but would note steep , winding stairs which would make the upper floor better for nimble sober types

Negative: We would have liked an information folder about the house. Particularly how to use the television. There were no tea towels in the kitchen.

Negative: *Oven had no temperature indicator - very hard cooking Xmas lunch for 20 *water continually dripping onto floor from pipes under sink in kitchen *top floor shower pressure VERY low. Unusable * dishwasher lower rack broken - hard to load plates *one baking pan insufficient for a house sleeping 14 people
Summary: We enjoyed our stay because we are adaptable and we made it work but for £3000 + we were disappointed in the above.
