Positive: The location was wonderful. Almost walkable to Mycenae (except for the periodically heavy tour-bus traffic on the narrow road). Parking was no problem. Short drives to Nafplio and Tiryns. A goodly number of restaurants in the village, although the open hours for some were surprising. The unit was several rooms, lots of chairs and a sofa, so getting some quiet space alone is easy. The view is nice, and I enjoyed walking around Mykines. Communication on entry and other things was through Booking.com, which worked out just fine on our iphones. Lovely table and chairs on a shaded terrace.

Negative: You climb up an exterior corkscrew, black-metal stairway to each the apartment. All our luggage was airplane-carry-on size and it just fit inside the corkscrew of the stairway. If you have larger luggage, be prepared to muscle it up. The hot water is solar, gravity-fed so taking a shower was a drip-drip experience. The second bed was a single bed separated from a passageway by a hanging sheet.

Positive: we are too old friends traveling increase for a month. This was our first night stay in the Peloponnese. exactly what we needed to rest and begin this part of our journey. Located within walking distance of the ruins at Mycenae, our lodging in the small village was quiet and had so many sweet touches like basket of fresh oranges from Sophia's trees, and honey from her bees. Delicious! we had a chance to visit with people in the neighborhood, I could practice speaking Greek, and as everywhere we have been people are so kind and generous. We are only sorry we could only stay one night. You might need a certain level of fitness to carry your suitcase up the spiral stairs . we loved the seating areas outdoors and indoors .

Positive: Fantastic spot to stay with a family if you are exploring… we arrived to find eggs and jams all waiting for us; sadly it was so cold we were unable to sit out to enjoy the view and which was quite stunning. We did get to enjoy a fire though and amazingly warm blankets.

Negative: It was only possibly to heat the water when the heating was off - a minor issue.
