Positive: If a higher rating then 10 would be possible, this apartment and caring host would definitely deserve it! From the very beginning, our host made sure we felt truly welcomed. We got a ton of thoughtful information up ahead including a description of how to get to the apartment. The warm and caring atmosphere, and all the attention to detail - like personal little notes around the apartment, instructions for the appliances, etc. made such a difference. The apartment is huge for Tokio standards but may seem on the smaller side for Europeans. We stayed with 5 people and the space was ample as the apartment is very cleverly designed. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, gas stove with grill, microwave, kettle, rice cooker and small oven. There is a washing machine and balcony. The location is perfect for exploring Tokio. There is a larger supermarket just 2 min. walk away. Depending on your exploring habits you can actually walk to many sites from the apartment (sky tree, senso-ji temple, museum of contemp. Art. All approx. 30-40mins walk.) when exploring make sure to note bus No. 2 will take you to Kinshijo JR station which also has a large shopping centre, in the other direction bus No 2 will take you to Ueno (numerous museums round there). The host is ever so sweet & caring and will gladly answer any of your questions.
