Located within 15 minutes of Beautiful Historic Beaufort, 15 minutes from Parris Island, and 45 minutes from the beaches of Hunting Island and Hilton Head, this waterfront getaway features 1 master bedroom with ensuite whirlpool tub and shower, a 2nd master bedroom with ensuite, and 1 triple twin bedroom, three full baths, a wonderful screened porch, and beautiful sun rises from our deep water dock. Crab, shrimp and fish right from the dock. Relax on the covered deck over the water while watching dolphins and stingray along with some extraordinary bird life including, Cranes, Herons, Pelicans and Egrets. Bring your kayak, paddle board and small craft and enjoy McCalley Creek! Take a trip from the dock to Hilton Head Island or Beaufort by the bay for some shopping and dining in your small craft. The home is centrally located between Savannah and Charleston. This is a great balance between peaceful country and access to Downtown Beaufort. At night enjoy beautiful views of our southern moon. Use the Gas Grill on the outdoor patio or relax in the screened in porch.

Summary: 3 couples met for a few days, to enjoy our friendships. The house is relatively secluded and the area is very quiet. We enjoyed the view off the dock, and watching the sunrise. The house is as described. The 3 separate bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms worked well for us. Lots of living area to sit and talk and eat.The house needs some updating and tlc.We would definitely stay again, given the opportunity.

Summary: Was staying in the area for vacation to stroll around Beaufort and take in the air show at the Marine base. House was in a great spot to take advantage of both. It was quiet and lovely in the evenings and a great spot to watch the Blue Angels from the dock during the day.

Summary: The property was nice and the owner, who lives next door, was responsive to issues. The house is older and has been remodeled. It was clean and well stocked. The plumbing can be persnickety with hot water issues (addressed by the owner) and clogged toilets upon arrival (which we handled and then notified owner). The yard is wonderful. There is a small fenced area for dogs to potty, which was a surprise and very helpful. The deck and dock provided access to beautiful scenery, fishing and crabbing. The dock is in need of repairs, with several loose boards, but otherwise was as described.and was where we spent much of our time.We look forward to staying again, as the location was quiet, and not far from Beaufort amenities.

Summary: Diamond in the rough. Outside of house could stand a cleaning, but inside was clean. Nice big yard with good privacy from neighbors with lots of greenery.

Summary: The weather played a huge impact as it limited our overall enjoyment of our stay. However, the host was very responsive, the house was spacious and the setting (minus the snow!) was beautiful.

Summary: The property is located north of Beaufort and it was very easy to reach sightseeing areas. Communication with the owners was easy, they were very responsive and helpful with any problems. We were there during Hurricane Helene and they were very helpful and assured us we were safe.
