Positive: Fabulous kitchen , very well equipped and designed . Layout of the house worked really well with our family . Very comfortable and stylish furniture , spacious bedrooms and bathrooms , and set in a pretty countryside location . Enjoyed the woodburner .

Positive: Excellent location and a beautiful property. The house had superb facilities and a really lovely garden. It was close to Axminster and the coastal towns of Devon and Dorset with stunning scenery in every direction. There's a marvellous ice cream cafe just minutes from the house run by a fantastic family.

Positive: It was very spacious. The location suited us. The bathrooms had plenty of hot water and we liked the showers.

Negative: I left a long list of things which were either broken or missing so that we didn't get blamed or penalised. E.g. keysafe was badly damaged and there were no information pages to maximise the use of the kitchen etc. I have yet to get some sort of acknowledgement of my list.

Summary: Lovely property, let down by attention to detail

Positive: Superb spacious property, really well equipped kitchen and everything you would need for a great stay. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise and enjoyed by everyone.

Negative: Struggled to get induction hob to work, having never used one before. Instruction manual would have been useful. Had to download the user manual directly from Neff.

Positive: The house was exceptional everything you need is there.the instant boiling water from the quooker tap was a fantastic extra we did not expect.with 3 double bedrooms and a twin room it was perfect for our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids). Star grazing at night was phenomenal. Great quiet location for everything we wanted to do.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like

Positive: Tucked away just off the main routes around the area - it was so peaceful, immaculately clean and perfect for a group ( there were 7 of us , grandparents, kids and a dog ) the kitchen was perfect- the best well stocked kitchen that we have stayed at- no expense spared .

Negative: Nothing worth mentioning

Summary: Great central location- if you are happy to drive places . Perfect accommodation away from the crowds .

Positive: The property was very clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The owner has thought of everything even adding a nightlight in the hallway which is motion detective. The super king bed in the master bedroom was like sleeping on clouds! Had a perfect nights sleep!

Negative: The outdoor furniture smelt a bit musty.

Summary: A perfect cottage for a relaxing weekend with friends. It was just what we needed.
