Positive: The place is very clean en nice and big for two people. Bed is fantastic. Very clean. Kitchen modern and all that u need is there. Nice braai area under cover sitting area outside.
Negative: We had no gas to shower. My husband checked the gas bottle. It was empty. So we could not shower with hot water. Or use the gas stove to cook. Please ensure that all gas bottles are checked. As the unit across us. Also struggled with no gas. Very disapointing after a good weekend. Please check all units before clients get there.

Positive: The tranquillity of the place is amazing. It is really lovely sitting on the river bank with a coffee or glass of wine having a meal. What is not to like.
Negative: The directions of where to collect the key is very frustrating as it is at the diner that does not have a number - so after frustrating time wasting guess work after a long journey it was not appreciated. This is an easily correctable oversight.
Summary: Maybe not everyone's taste, but although a first for me, it was a very pleasant stay.

Positive: Totally a one-of-a-kind location and chalet. The best, large and comfy bed. Very well supplied kitchen. Great service from the reception area.
Negative: Everything was so new that it still smelled of paint but that will fade automatically 😉
