Positive: Well, the place is great, food is also very tasty and has a bit higher quality then the other places we visit, which is a very good thing. But what makes it even more great is the people who work there. Everyone is so kind and they really try it hard to keep the standard. What i can note is a few names that did stand out with their kindness: Arjola - the most professional personal guest assistant I have ever met, and I've been to more than 20 resorts. Bipan - the waiter at Iru Restaurant, always with a smile and providing amazing service Venkatarman - very kind baggy car driver

Negative: Wifi is good, but its limited; some websites are blocked via firewall ( gaming websites - battle.net, steam, etc -- so you ll not be able to play some mobile games or navigate to any of those websites ) Also, range of Wifi is not reaching the beach, which is a downside. Food is repeated for breakfast/lunch/dinner ( 85% of the food is always the same ) Another thing is, each day the Iru restaurant dinner has a different food theme ( Monday - fish market , Tuesday - Indian, Wednesday - International etc -- you get the point ) but even with a different food theme for dinner, the food is very similar, and only few dishes are different. A bit of variety in food choices would be good to add.

Positive: Our family’s stay was a fairytale from start to finish. The rooms are beyond imagination, the resort is spectacular and the service is impeccable. Every little detail is clearly so well thought out. Aung took incredible care of us, he is so kind, attentive, helpful and lovely. He even organised sending my left-behind belongings to our next location. Anjali’s sunset yoga session on the deck was wonderful. We loved every minute of our stay and sincerely hope to return.

Positive: This holiday was like being in paradise! The white sand, the beautiful turquoise sea, amazing food, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, seeing the dolphins, beautiful sunsets! The staff were so attentive, our butler was Shahu, with a ready smile and a great sense of humour, looked after our needs each day. Our room was looked after by Santosh, what a guy, nothing too much trouble, beautiful dressed beds each day and the room meticously clean each day, with chocolates! Our waiter in the restaurant was Rasel, what a chap, always a cheeky smile and couldnt do enough for you! All in all an amazing holiday, and will definately return.

Negative: Nothing, it was amazing.

Summary: One of my top 5 holidays ever!

Positive: This was paradise - the hotel was perfection, the beach villa immaculate, the all inclusive food and drinks great and staff friendly and attentive. Oh and the beach on our doorstep, warm sea.... Not sure how we will ever top this!

Negative: minor grumble - there are plenty or restaurants on the island but all, other than the main one, were fully booked every night we were there (in fact because of the App booking system it they were fully booked before we even arrived!). The main buffet restaurant was still good, but would have been nice to try.

Positive: The island, beaches, loads of activities especially for kids and families, free water plane transfer, staff, butler service is outstanding, great spa w free hydro sauna session. LOVE their treasure hunt, very challenging, but older kids love it and the prize is very generous! Islander Grill has the best food but has charges even if you are on all inclusive.

Negative: The main restaurant food and ambiance need improvement, booking in Flavour, Bamboo and Taste of India should be improved, it was always impossible to book. Too many mosquitos for my taste, as much as I love their beach villas, I stayed in water villa to avoid mosquitos.

Positive: Seaplane ride was an adventure on its own. Took us about 45mins from Male. The room was ample and clean, equipped with nice outdoor bath. There were a few restaurant on site and they had great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
