Nestled in the area between downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, referred to as upper Kaka'ako/Punchbowl our place offers access to public transportation (buses and ride shares - auto and bicycle), shopping, art & cultural events, medical facilities, concerts and conventions. If it's sand and surf you want-we're less than 2 miles from the beach. Let us show true ALOHA during your stay w/personal touches - comfortable for 3-6 guests! Just a short walk to Ala Moana and Kewalo Waterfront Parks.
Two master bedrooms (total of 3 queen-sized beds) on upper level of a 3 story townhouse with private bathrooms. Each room has a kitchenette (coffee/tea bar, microwave, toaster oven, blender and freezer/refrigerator) with dishes, cutlery w/boards and flatware service for 4 in each room.
The house is quiet and in safe area. Rooms are on 3rd level so you can relax and have privacy. Clean linen will be exchanged for any linen that's left in the laundry baskets provided and placed outside the door. Rooms have keyed entry and you'll be provided with a garage door opener if needed. They’ll be cleaned weekly & with you present during your stay.
Families with children - we're within walking distance of plenty of parks and the beach (Ala Moana Beach Park and the Kaka'ako Waterfront Park and just 3 miles from Waikiki! A Pack and Play Crib and high chair are available for your use. We would love to share some special ALOHA if your trip is a celebratory one i.e. Birthdays, Graduations and Anniversaries.

We have 2 parking spaces one inside the garage on one off-street space on the side, private laundry room and folding area attached to garage. A bus stop(Route 4) is close by and Uber/Lyft picks up here and you’re walking distance of BIKI - Honolulu's bike sharing system. We also have a full-service kitchen and living room area available from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm M-F.
***This listing is for families and large groups traveling together up to 6 - you and your group can enjoy “family-style” dining on the 2nd level - Ben and I would have everything prepared for you just to prepare, sit, eat & enjoy. We’ll take care of the dishes - we’re located close to several grocery stores to include Whole Foods, Walmart, a Super Target and Down to Earth.
We’re on-site hosts who love sharing our home with guests! During your stay we'll tailor our accommodations and interactions to your specific needs & tastes to include dietary restrictions/preferences, access/information about local services, stores and events. We can be reached by texting or emailing. Join us in the living room as long as the door is open to use the kitchen and main dining room. If you need the kitchen and dining areas to host a small dinner party-we can provide access until 8pm.
The rooms are equipped to handle late-night snacking and microwave cooking. The 2 TVs are SMART so you can access the full range of streaming services and if you REDBOX - there's a few locations within walking distance.
We take care of the dishes in the room & have a place for you to leave them when you’re done eating. We also have a “beach kit” with beach towels, suntan lotions, and coolers - just grab it and hit the surf!
We're a "no-smoking" household however we'll make allowances for outdoor smoking within the designated area - we request that you please pace the butts in the receptacles provided - we'll have some chairs so you can sit & enjoy your smoke. Cleaning and linen laundry will be taken care of by us - all other laundry is self-serve (included in booking price).
We're close to Honolulu's business & financial districts so corporate, government , medical (both providers & patients) and business travelers are welcome. We have easy access to the Blaisdell Concert and Exhibition Hall, Honolulu Convention Center, Tripler Army Hospital, Hickam AFB, Pearl Harbor, Queens Hospital and Straub Clinic and Hospital as well as the Kapiolani Women's Center.
We're located off Ward Avenue which is currently experiencing a revitalization of the whole area. Plenty of shopping, shows, dining, nightlife and cultural/historical events/venues within walking distance to make your stay here unforgettable. If Waikiki/Hawaii Convention Center is your destination you can get there easily via public transportation or a quick 20 min drive by car. Honolulu's Chinatown markets and nightlife is also a short trip away but it's best to take the bus or Uber bc like all downtown areas - navigating the one way streets & finding parking is challenging.
We are frequent visitors to the Honolulu Art Museum, Blaisdell Center, Ward Village, Bishop Museum & Iolani Palace because we walk or bike a LOT!. Longs/CVS Pharmacy, Safeway, Walmart and Ala Moana Mall which has a Target are also just blocks away along with 2 major medical centers (Straub and Queens).
Ask us directions/information about any tours/adventures you are interested in. Traveling westward you will encounter the "military side" of Oahu where you can visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial, Tripler AMC & Hickam AFB , Ft. Shafter & Schofield Barracks and if you want to get in short hike up Ward Ave you can visit the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl Crater.
You have your pick of how you're going to get around - Chinatown is 1.5 miles and Waikiki is just 3 miles away, we're 6 miles from the airport and Diamondhead and 9 miles from Pearl Harbor. Oahu has a great bus system and also bike sharing. For visits to the Disney Resort, Ko'olina Lagoons, North Shore and Sandy Beach a car/Uber/Lyft is needed.
