Updated beach house with distant water views in quiet Snug Harbor/East Matunuck Beach. Just one block from Point Judith Pond and three of the nicest marinas in Rhode Island. Approximately 3/4 of a mile to East Matunuck State Beach, the Matunuck Oyster Bar, Captain Jack's and Jim's Dock. Sleeps 4- 6. First floor bedroom with full bed. The second floor has a semi-private bedroom with a queen bed along with two twin beds. The kitchen has been completely renovated with stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. First floor bathroom has also been completely renovated with a walk in shower. WIFI internet service. Central air - outdoor shower and large deck with patio furniture and gas grill. Summary: We had a great two week stay at this rental in Snug Harbor! The location was perfect - just a 5 minute drive to East Matunuck beach, Matunuck Oyster Bar, etc. We drove to a number of great hiking trails in the area, took the ferry to Block Island (ferry was ~10-15 min away), and checked out Narragansett, Wakefield, and Newport (~30 min). We brought bikes with us and walked a lot too; everything was very accessible. The house was a perfect size and a bonus that it was dog friendly! (For those of you bringing dogs there is no fence so we used a long lead in the yard). The kitchen was equipped with good quality cookware, a big fridge, and spices, and the grill was awesome! There were plenty of comfortable linens, bath towels, and beach towels, and access to laundry, which was a big help! We loved using the outdoor shower and fire pit. Laurie was very kind and communicative. I would highly recommend this rental. We were so sad to leave!

Summary: It's always a pleasure to stay here. Laurie is extremely responsive and helpful as a host. The space has all the amenities of home. We were able to make the most of our indoor day cooking our own meals and watching a movie on one of the storm days during our visit. The location is perfect to enjoy all of the best of RI. I highly recommend a stay here.

Summary: Very quant & cozy, in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect surroundings for my husband & I. Best of all was that our dog was welcomed too. The cottage had everything we needed to prepare our seafood meals & more. If you love seafood you must try the Ocean Catch Seafood market in Wakefield, only a 10 minute drive.Located close to the beach so that we were able to go back & forth to check on our pup. The beds were very comfortable too.

Summary: This property is in a great spot of RI. It also offers all of the conveniences of home. My dog even enjoys staying here! We’ll definitely return in the future. This was our second or third stay at this property.

Summary: This property exceeded all of our expectations - it was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and in a friendly yet quiet neighborhood, which is a prime location of RI. My dog even enjoyed playing on the grass and going for walks in the neighborhood. Laurie recommended a dog beach nearby which was fun for the dog, but not the bunnies he wanted to chase. We really appreciated her communication prior and during our stay. The weather didn't work out in our favor, but we were able to cook, and rest comfortably inside the home when we didn't have ideal beach weather. I had a bit of goldilocks moment finding the most comfortable bed for me, but it worked out by mid-week. I was very pleased to have access to A/C during the hot, muggy weather. We definitely want to return in the near future. Thank you to Laurie for sharing her beautiful home with all of us.
