Positive: The food was exceptional. Miss Riko and the entire staff treated us like family, with incredible attention to detail and service throughout our stay. The onsen water was amazing, and Gero is truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend Suihoen and Gero.

Negative: We stayed in the older wing of the ryokan in a traditional tatami room, which felt slightly dated. That said, it had authentic ryokan charm, was very clean and well maintained, and we ended up loving it.

Positive: Parking is available, location is easy to find driving there but quite a bit of walk from the train station. Hospitable and friendly staff with excellent service. Meals were amazing and uses local and seasonal ingredients. Very clean and newly furnished rooms available for selection. Amazing space and interior design. In-room hot spring available and feels very private as well.

Positive: Suihoen is excellent. The staff, rooms, food and facilities were all an extremely high quality. Staff are very helpful and family friendly, the food was outstanding with a private dining room, and the hot spring baths so relaxing.

Positive: 1 of the best Ryokan stay for our family, excellent service and delicious meals. We enjoy the private onsen in room and the room is spacious.

Negative: The beautiful garden within the property is well maintain and the surrounding is quiet and peaceful. Parking is available onsite so excellent for self drive.

Summary: Overall our family have a great time and will definitely go back if we ever go Gero again.
