Positive: 1 of the best Ryokan stay for our family, excellent service and delicious meals. We enjoy the private onsen in room and the room is spacious.

Negative: The beautiful garden within the property is well maintain and the surrounding is quiet and peaceful. Parking is available onsite so excellent for self drive.

Summary: Overall our family have a great time and will definitely go back if we ever go Gero again.

Positive: Traditional ryokan which is super comfortable and relaxing. They think of all the details. The vegetarian kaiseki meals were amazing (they were able to accomodate dietary requirements)

Positive: With a bit of age but maintained exceptionally well! Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Negative: The public onsen can be slightly bigger if possible but we had our own private tub in our room that was ultra spacious and comfortable.

Summary: It was a relaxing and peaceful stay with Suihoen, and will return again in the future!

Positive: We had an amazing stay. Our room was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to our English speaking. The food was incredible and authentic, we were stuffed! We felt very spoiled by this hotel, we stayed here during our honeymoon and they presented us with a gift and even took a commemorative photo which is now hanging in our house. We loved our stay here so much and hope to return some day.
