Positive: AMAZING. Stunning. Groundbreaking. I cannot wait to return to Japan specifically to come back here. We wish we stayed for longer. Lovely dinner, unparalleled breakfast. I cannot stop thinking about the breakfast. Everything was perfect. Staff goes above and beyond at all hours for you 24/7. I cannot thank you all enough for the best hotel stay of my life!

Positive: Pretty much everything was amazing and top notch. The view from the rooftop onsen was the highlight for me.

Negative: They didn't have large enough sized shorts for me to wear on the rooftop onsen, but this was communicated beforehand so it wasn't a big deal.

Positive: The private onsen is what piqued my interest initially, but the staff is definitely the highlight! I kid you not you feel like a king the way your treated. The food was also incredibly delicious! In all perceivable ways possible, this is such a cut above your standard hotel or ryokan.

Negative: I would lie if I said there was anything that fell short. This was a once in a lifetime experience that will stick with you.

Positive: Loved the food and private onsen! It was peaceful and staff were extremely kind. Super clean and we loved being able to walk around the building without shoes!

Negative: Not something we disliked but in other ryokans, we’ve been given small baked goods when we go out for the day. It would’ve been something nice if this ryokan did the same!
