Positive: Very traditional feeling. Wicked nice Ryokan vibe. Staff was amazing, let me drop my heavy bag off early so I could go exploring.
Negative: I mean if I had to say something I wish it was more in the woods but it is close to suwa taisha. I'd definitely stay there again regardless.

Positive: After two weeks of campervan we wanted to end our Japan trip with a ryokan stay. We are very happy we booked this place! Most amazingly was the private outdoor onsen. Rooms were big and extremely clean. There was some nice matcha tea and hot water provided, so we could enjoy the little tea room! Also there were yukatas we could borrow. Staff was also extremely kind!
Negative: Personally I didn’t like the pillows, and for me the futons were a bit too thin. My friend however slept like a baby!
Summary: Very good memory!
