Summary: Valerie is a wonderful host, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property is what we expected and the photographs accurately represent this wonderful house. We were there for 2 weeks in June and would have happily stayed on longer. The property is ideally suited to take advantage of the local amenities: The Boulangerie, food shops, pharmacy, gift shops and the traditional oyster restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The property is extremely comfortable and everything we could have wanted, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge and dining area are a good size. There is also an outside dining area which has fantastic views over the Arcachon Bassin, a great place to gather and relax. The pool is a good size and gets a lot of sun and was well used by us. There is a lovely homely feel and we always looked forward to returning from our local adventures. We also hired bikes and took advantage of the cycle paths which are only a few minutes away. We really loved this place and can’t wait to return. Can not recommend it more highly. 5 stars from us. Jane/David & Friends.

Summary: A warm welcome from Valerie and a fabulous setting with great views over the Arcachon Bassin. Location perfect in Le Canon for cycling, walking, access to beaches and Arcachon. 2 minute walk to mini market, bakery and fresh seafood...We also enjoyed local Italian restaurant and recommend takeaway platter of oysters to enjoy on the fabulous verandah.

Summary: We recently stayed at Valerie's property for two weeks. We could not have asked for a better place to stay! From the very beginning, Valerie greeted us very warmly and made us feel right at home. The home is beautiful, very functional, and relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. The pool was heated! Very relaxing outdoor atmosphere and very family-friendly. If it could not get any better, there was also a fantastic view and in a prime location close to shops, restaurants, and more! Overall, my family could not have been happier with our stay and are excited to return for more!

Summary: It is a very fine house, everything is there. The host Valerie is very kind and helpful. The view is amazing, When ou're at the balcony you look over the Bay of Arcachon and you can see Arcachon. Everything is so nearby. The shops, the Ocean and many bike paths. The house is nearby the woods that's going to the Ocean. We've had a great time

Summary: We loved our stay in this wonderful property. We would absolutely return and stay here. It was even better than the pictures, but its setting is second to none. Cap Ferret is a marvelous place to visit, but this home made it some much more of a wonderful experience. It has everything, and it was more than perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this property if you are traveling to Cap Ferret.

Summary: We had a lovely stay, in spite of some pretty awful weather. The house was just perfect for our family of 6. The pool was actually heated, as promised (which in our experience often doesn’t happen!), so was well-used in spite of the unseasonal rain. The house has a super vibe, is well-equipped & furnished, has good wifi, and is in the perfect location - Le Canon is lovely & has everything you need. We rented (electric!) bikes from Zen Velos which were delivered to the house - highly recommend this company too. 5 mins bike ride to the Truc Vert - we even popped over to the beach for an amazing sunset after dinner at “home” one night. Valerie is professional & friendly to deal with and speaks excellent English. In short, we won’t be staying anywhere else in Cap Ferret from now on. Fab place.

Summary: We had an incredible stay with our 2 kids (one toddler and one baby) in Valérie's house. The house is in a perfect location, near shops and beaches. It's in perfect condition and super for holidays with young kids as it is very safe. The only downside would be that there is a steep path leading to the house but other from that the house is very comfortable and easy to use. The swimming pool is awesome. Breakfasts and evening drinks with the view of the Bassin are priceless! We will absolutely be back.
