THE "BAY HOUSE" IS AN AMAZING HOME TUCKED AWAY ON A SECLUDED WATERFRONT ENCLAVE. 2 MASTER SUITES, PRIVATE UPPER DECK/15 MIN. FROM GG BRIDGE, 45 MIN. FROM NAPA. BREATHTAKING VIEWS, LOCATED ON THE BAY! MAX. 4 GUESTS-ALL GUESTS MUST BE IDENTIFIED AT BOOKING.
ENTIRE PROPERTY IS NON-SMOKING.
NO PETS.
CHILDREN 12 yrs and older only. Not suitable for kids under 12.
MANY STEPS FROM STREET TO PROPERTY / NO DISABLED ACCESS.
The soothing sound of waves, spectacular view of the bay & Marin Islands and gorgeously decorated home situated on a private beach, is the perfect getaway for a wonderful vacation! It's fully stocked for all your needs and has limited private parking spaces. The scenery will take your breath away and you'll absolutely love how beautiful this home is. Each Master Bedroom has a Master Bathroom and a magnificent view from practically every part of the home.
The home will accommodate a maximum of 4 people, (no children under the age of 12 are allowed, as this home is not suitable for children - please, no exceptions). No sleeping on the furniture or floor. Only guests who have booked the home will be allowed at the property. There is Bay access from the home, however, the lower deck is for use by the Bungalow guests only. Guests of the 2-Bedroom home have a lovely, large private deck off the dining room.
This home is a 2-level structure. There is a Bungalow on the lower level with a completely separate entrance. The Bungalow is a Studio and only occupied by a maximum of 2 guests. It is not shared with the home, completely separate entrances.

If you are looking for a “PARTY HOUSE", unfortunately this property will not suit your needs. While we certainly encourage our guests to enjoy themselves...we must also insist that no one in the area is disturbed by excessive or loud noise, partying, drinking or any type of behavior that would prevent neighbors from a peaceful enjoyment of their homes before or after "reasonable hours".
THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, (Smoking not allowed anywhere including patios, decks, walkways, stairs, beach area or any part of the property - smokers must go to the sidewalk away from the property).
The Fireplace is decorative only. No BBQ's, Grills, or FIRES of any kind allowed at this property, including on the Bay.

There is no A/C unit in this home, however, stand-up fans are provided.

GARDENERS come on SATURDAYS and arrive anytime between 10am-5pm.

Summary: Property was spacious and the deck was nice to sit out in the evening. The sunrise is beautiful. I would suggest bringing binoculars on your trip - regardless of where you stay. If you are looking for a breakfast spot - try The Garden Cafe. Wonderful breakfast (also served margaritas in the am), and the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted.

Summary: We had a great week in San Rafael and this property was was a beautiful place to call home. The sunrise views to the bay from the dining room and both bedrooms reminded us that we were on vacation. Roomy bathrooms adjoin both bedrooms on opposite sides of living/dining and nicely appointed kitchen. The space was perfect for our stay! Thank you!

Summary: We couldn't have asked for a better stay! The property was peaceful with beautiful views. We started each morning with a nice walk to the harbor. Close to shopping and Andy's Local Market that has a great selection of groceries and an awesome deli. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions before our arrival. We hope to come back to enjoy this beautiful place soon!

Summary: This was a great home base to return to after exploring Marin county. The house was clean and comfortable and, most importantly, the beds were so cozy that we slept great! And the view is simply the icing on the cake. I hope to return sometime soon!

Summary: Mark has a beautiful home but should make it more know about the 30+ stairs down to it. A pic of them would be nice. Also some tip sheets on how to use TV would have been very appreciated! The house has great art through out, very enjoyable! And last but not least Mark why Queen beds when theres PLENTY of room for Kings!! With king beds Mark this would be an A+++ rental! the queen beds sink the rating. B+.

Summary: We loved the Bayhouse. Kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment is clean. The only downside we noticed is that the soundproofing is very poor and we could hear the bungalow below us talking and other activities at all hours of the day and night. Other than that it was very peaceful but had to rate 4 stars instead of 5.
