We welcome you to Satriano - our beautiful home among the olives and vineyards on the Umbria/Tuscan border. Satriano is a standalone private villa with large solar-heated pool, wifi, veranda and patio offering both proper shade and sun. Enjoy the private garden, pick herbs to cook with delicious vegetables from the local markets, or just relax on the veranda with a glass of Tuscan wine, and enjoy the glorious views and sunsets.
There are beautiful walks and bike rides in the hills straight from the house, and yet you are a few minutes drive from the shops and great restaurants in Monterchi and the vibrant historic centres of Anghiari, Sansepolcro, Citta di Castello and Arezzo. Slightly further are Cortona (1hr), Perugia (50mins), Florence (1.5hrs) and Assisi (1hr). For art lovers, this is the land of Piero della Francesca and Donatello. For wine lovers we can recommend wine tastings and tours nearby. And of course there is the wonderful food and markets of Tuscany and Umbria to enjoy. This is the land of porcini and truffles. Bring back local delicacies for the barbeque, such as the abundant local vegetables, porcini mushrooms, truffles as well as local meat and cheeses. As well as providing details of local shops, markets and restaurants, we recommend a local chef who can prepare and serve an evening meal on site. For keen walkers, as well as hikes straight from the door, a short drive takes you to the beautiful hiking trails of Monte della Luna.
Or simply spend days relaxing by the pool or lazing in the hammock on the veranda.
For music lovers there are many festivals in July and August, for example the classical music festival in Anghiari, Umbrian Jazz in Perugia, Festival dei Nazioni in Citta di Castello, or open-air opera in Preggio..

Summary: Photos cannot convey just what a stunning location this villa is in. So, incredible views and yet within easy reach of many villages and towns that all offered the perfect blend of culture, views and incredible food! The villa itself is beautiful. Everything is finished to the highest standard. Jeremy and Tessa are excellent hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Summary: This is the second stay for us here and again it was beautiful! The villa is spotless and very well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering stay. You can walk approx 50 mins to the local cafe for coffee and croissants. The pool is sola heated so like getting in a beautiful bath. The hosts Jeramy and Tessa cannot do enough to help with any questions answered immediately. This place is a hidden gem. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

Summary: We had a great time at Satriano, the views and the peace and quiet is absolutely what we were looking for in a holiday retreat. The location is wonderful up on the hillside, away from any passing traffic. The house is beautifully presented and contained everything that we required, the veranda is a lovely place to sit and relax and just look at the spectacular views . The pool area is superb and well equipped with a really nice sized pool. We had the opportunity to meet the owners who were really nice and welcoming to us. We would love to return.

Summary: You can sum it up in a nutshell: A holiday in paradise. The house is beautiful and extremely tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous veranda, from which we had a breathtaking view of the Tuscan/Umbrian landscape. The pool, an absolute highlight, contributed to the fact that we felt very comfortable all around. The hosts Jeremy and Tessa were extremely nice, the entire organisation ran smoothly. Summary: I have been looking for a modern contemporary villa with its own pool in Tuscany/Umbria for a few years now. When I stumbled across this one it ticked all the box’s . It didn’t start well because we arrived late at night in the dark (Due to heavy traffic in France) So we couldn’t see which door to go in or where to park. However as soon as we woke up the next day we could see what a gorgeous view we had and what a beautiful setting the villa was in! The villa itself is stunning ,it’s completely equipped with everything you could need(all the utensils and towels etc are from John Lewis) From research we knew it was remote so stocked up with shopping for the holiday(however you can walk to a little village about 50 mins away for the cheapest coffee and croissant's you will ever find) My husband loved cleaning the pool out every morning (the pool is solar heated so hot all day which is amazing) Well what can I say about the hosts?? Jeremy and Tessa could not do enough to help us-many thanks. I asked lots of questions about the lads taking the bikes and walking trails etc before we went and all the questions were answered. They have recommendations for wine tasting which we did! They recommended a private chief that comes and cooks at the villa which we did (it is a local lady ) I would recommend to do this it was such a lovely evening and the food was fantastic. If you want a stay in a beautiful place with great hosts then this is the place to book-many thanks x

Summary: House is wonderful for small family. Inside very modern, outside as you would expect in a rural environment, pool is super. A great starting point for some very interesting short trips to cultural highlights. Information and suggestions from owners (cultural and gastronomic) were very valuable and much appreciated. Highly recommended!

Summary: The title "stunning villa" is indeed the correct description of this accomodation, already from arrival you will be overwelmed by the house itself, the large heated swimming pool, and the view over the valley ! It is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, enjoying tranquility on the top of the hill, alternated with visits to the surrounding small medieval villages or some larger cities such as Perugia, Assisi, ... which are on relatively short distance.(+/- 30-45min drive by car) We enjoyed very much the 2 bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms, which allowed us, parents, to have our own, nicely organised room, and for our 2 sons to have their own where they had their (more messy at times) organisation :-) The kitchen is fully equipped with all you might need, and very clean, which was the case for the entire house/pool besides. Their is also a nice living room (no TV) but we hardly sat there as it's far more pleasant to sit outside on the veranda or to have quality-familytime. As we have 2 boys of 17-18 years old, WIFI is very important for them, but that was not a problem at all. For those who plan a longer stay, there is also a washing machine, so you can do a quick wash and let your cloths dry in the sun for next use, if you wish to do this of course. The hosts Tessa and Jeremy were also easy reachable and very friendly during booking process/our stay, even though we never met them and all was done on-line (keys could be retrieved from a key-box), but this was definitely not a disadvantage because we simply didn't need to contact them as everything was just perfect. Summarizing : we spent an excellent vacation there !

Summary: We spent two marvellous weeks at Tessa and Jerry's remodeled and expanded chapel. We fell immediately in love wth the place- the panoramic 270 degrees view of the cultivated landscape is truly breathtaking- we could hardly stop just staring at it. The house and its surroundings are painstakingly clean and maintained. The local houskeepers, Patrizia and her family members are very helpful and always available when needed. We loved every aspect of our stay: the functional house, the generously sized shaded areas (with an extremely popular hammock), the sun powered heated pool is amazing, its dimensions with 18x4m allow you to really swim, the saltwater was a treat for our skin, the quiet and soothing general atmosphere. I call it a magic place- and we wholeheartedly thank Tessa and Jeremy for opening it up to the public. Tessa and Jeremy as well as her local staff truly care for your wellbeing and comfort- they pay attention to little details such as filled-up soap containers, body lotion etc upon your arrival. It's as if they plan to walk in as next guests. Overall a magnificent experience for us- a perfectly relaxing vacation in a unique location with breathtaking views- we are are already looking forward to return.
