Summary: We gifted our family a retreat in the mountains for Christmas last year after coming across this gem. We had high expectations as this was something I dreamed of being able to do for a while. The house fulfilled every expectation and then some! House is perfectly equipped for everything you need and the property manager is super responsive. Definitely a place we hope to return to.

Summary: We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Lantern Lodge for our wedding, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The property itself is breathtaking- beautifully maintained, cozy yet spacious, and surrounded by natural beauty that made the perfect backdrop for the wedding. What made the experience more incredible was Jessica, the property manager. From our first visit in February, she was warm, welcoming, and so helpful!! She's been prompt and professional with every question we had.Thanks to this amazing place and Jessica's hospitality, we created memories that will last a lifetime. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a meaningful moment in our lives. Highly highly recommend!!!

Summary: Everything was lovely! We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, not only with pots/pans/utinsels but also basic spices and such.Our group of 12 ranged from ages 7 to 66. Ten of us stayed in the main house and two of the young adults stayed in the guest house. The weather wasn't the best but the lodge was very spacious and well equipped with games so indoor time was no problem. We had activities going on in many rooms and the kids played outside whenever the rain wasn't coming down too hard. One of the kids had a birthday during our stay and she was so excited to see the Happy Birthday banner and balloons provided by the property manager.On a side note, I don't know if it was intentional but the ceiling of the Eagle's Nest room looked to have eagles soaring in the wood.

Summary: Although we were not that far from other houses, this beautiful home felt so secluded and private. We loved having all the outdoor space to be outside and enjoy the amazing views of the mountains and valley below us. So many great hikes nearby made it such a huge plus. Jessica, the house manager, was so responsive and very helpful when we needed things. There were 2 units for heat and A/C, which was perfect for such a big house. The 2nd guest house was nice for the family that needed more privacy and was great for cooking big meals for our huge group. Directions on how to get there, how to get in and how to use everything was far better than most VRBO houses that we rent (and we rent all the time). Would definitely recommend this place!

Summary: Very well equipped kitchen. Outside area great. Only issue is that it is advertised with 30 beds and there are definitely not places for 30 adults to sleep. Good for families with children to use bunk areas.Property manager was excellent to communal with h- very responsive and informative.I would highly r commend,
