Summary: We needed a large house for my siblings and I and our families to stay and have together time for my Dad’s memorial service. This was an amazing home for us during this stressful time. There is parking for campers and loads of bedrooms! The teens and young adults had lots of stuff to do with the pool table, pickleball court, playing in the creek, making smores over the firepit and just hanging out. There are a lot of dishes and cooking supplies, which was fabulous. There is a good sized grill for cooking outside too.Things to note: many of the bedrooms don’t have full blinds so bring an eye mask if you like to sleep in; the upstairs bedrooms are open at the ceiling so it can get noisy if sleeping times are different; the bedroom with the king bed doesn’t have an attached bath - there is a bedroom with queen bed on the main floor with a beautiful attached bath.

Summary: Had family from Colorado, Utah and Alaska come to Montana. This place was absolutely the perfect place. My family and I had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. So peaceful and the views were amazing. It was right next to the water and plenty of walking trails. It was close to towns and other attractions. Wish we could have rode the horses but otherwise was worth it.

Summary: Fantastic place!! We’ve been coming to Montana for 12 years now and this was the best place we have stayed! Accommodating to all ages in our family. Fishing, rafting, horses, cows, sweet doggies, wild life, etc. we loved being close to Red Lodge and Beartooth Pass. The owner Pat was super sweet and had some amazing recommendations that we took advantage of. We are definitely planning to stay here again in the future. Montana is a special place to us in our hearts. This specific trip will forever be memorable to us!

Summary: This home is a unique property located on the intersection of the Rock River and Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River. Our visit occurred a little over a month after major flooding in Montana. The house was not affected. The water was still quite high and fast during much of our visit. The hosts, Pat and Steve, were great. They live on the same property but far enough away for complete privacy. We had a few questions during our stay that were quickly answered. They also fully stocked us with farm fresh eggs. It’s a farm and sometimes there were people riding horses in the ring adjacent to the house. Between that and the interior décor, you knew you were vacationing in the west. The house is huge and provided our large family with 4 distinct living areas, each with its own bathroom. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms (one large with a balcony) and 2 regular size rooms. All three share a full bathroom. On the main floor there is a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bathroom. The master bath has a large shower and a separate whirlpool tub. The tub is surrounded by windows overlooking the convergence of the two rivers. The third living area is above the garage and has 2 bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill full bathroom. Finally, in the walk-out basement there is another bedroom and a ¾ bath. The huge deck is accessible from the master bedroom, the great room, and the kitchen. It overlooks the creek and a nice view of the mountains. The home also has quite a few recreational and hang out areas. Our family spent hours in the great room relaxing. The great room is the room in the listing pictures with all of the hunting trophies. There is an area on the 2nd floor with kids’ toys and another area overlooking the great room with a comfy chair for some quiet reading. The basement had a pool table and plenty of comfortable seating with a TV. It also has a bar area (no fridge and sadly no alcohol provided). It opens onto a large patio with a fire pit. Note as well that the property has both cornhole and horseshoes available for group play. A review of this home would not be complete without mentioning how welcoming it is for dogs. Our dogs had a great time. We generally let them out the front door through the huge, shaded porch. They had a good area to attend to their personal needs and play fetch. Summary: The property was very pretty and comfortable. Owners were so nice and were close by if we needed them but they were distant as not to interrupt our vacation. House was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Definitely stay there again
