The property is furnished to a very high standard. It comprises of 1 bedroom at the rear of the property with a super king sized bed, a small bedroom at the side of the bungalow with a 4 foot double bed. At the front of the bungalow, overlooking the Solent, is a twin bedroom . There is a large study with a sofa bed, TV and DVD player.
There is a modern bathroom with bath and shower. There is also a separate modern shower room with toilet.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has sea views.
The spacious lounge has amazing sea views from a large picture window to the front with views of Southampton Water and a large bay window with views all the way across the Solent to Portsmouth. There is a log burner with an initial supply of logs. As an alternative an electric “wood burner” effect fire can be moved from the study to the fireplace if required.
There is a separate study / TV room with a sofa bed. This also has fantastic sea views.
There is also a conservatory with conservatory furniture and table which overlooks the mature spacious garden. The resident red squirrels visit most days.
There is a secluded patio overlooking the garden which is a sun trap. The patio to the front has a BBQ and sea views.
A travel cot and high chair is available.
There is off road parking for 2 cars up a steep drive. Alternatively there is on road parking outside the bungalow. Once at the top of the drive the bungalow is on the level with only a small step up into the bungalow itself.

From the rear garden there is a gate into Northwood Park. There are large gardens there, tennis courts and children's play area.

Summary: Parkwater is a great bungalow in a super location. A real home from home. The secure rear garden backs onto a nice park. The front has super views over water. Bob & Kim are very attentive before, during and after your stay. The only draw back is the steep drive up, which was a bit slippy to try and drive up when wet. The on street parking is free, but can get busy during the day. We had a relaxing stay thx

Summary: This house is in a great location in Cowes and the house provides everything that you would need for a great holiday. The property is well maintained and a great space for a couple or a family. Plenty of space in the garden and in the property. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time in and around Cowes. very easy to cycle to other places on the island as well using the ferry across to East Cowes. Well done to the owners for providing such a great place.

Summary: Wonderful house - immaculately presented, comfortable, well equiped, spacious, great beds and linen, modern bathrooms, and a sensational back garden. Stunning sea views from the front terrace, sitting room, dining room and additional living room. We loved our stay here, and our dog also agreed it was super! 10 to 15 minute walk into the centre of town so well situated too. We really did not want to leave and we will miss that view. The only minor negatives were the steep drive which you need to negotiate with great care not to lose your exhaust, and the bath towels were a little small. Other than that absolutely fantastic and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Summary: We had such a wonderful week in this lovely bungalow. It is in a fantastic location five - ten minutes walk from the town centre. Well equipped with everything you might need, the accommodation was exactly as the photos. The back garden is amazing but as we stayed during Cowes week we spent most of our time admiring the boats and the view from the front. We hired electric bikes in Yarmouth, jet skied in Bembridge and go-karted near Ryde as well as doing some coastal walks all of which were great fun. Bob and Kim were really helpful and accommodating. We would thoroughly recommend staying here for the great views and location and wonderful hosts.
