Steps to the Sand in beautiful Pacific City. This house offers the perfect family beach getaway situated in the beachside resort community of Shorepines. Experience the laid-back luxury of coastal living in this 3BR/2.5BA pet-friendly home located just minutes from the shore. This beautiful two-story home features a relaxing outdoor space complete with hot tub, deck, dining table and chairs, lounge chairs, and propane grill.
Location is everything!
A prime location in the Shorepine Village community with guest amenities that include a boardwalk with beach access, paved trails, and a clubhouse equipped with a fitness center, BBQ pit and billiard table. Just a two minute walk to the sand and five-minute walk to Pelican Brewery, dunes and tide pools, coffee shop, and the local market. We provide 5 bikes, boogies boards, sand toys, chairs, sand boards, and a beach umbrella.
Living Room
The house features comfortable sofas in the living room to visit, play games, read a book from the large collection, or watch shows on the 42” TV with cable and unlimited supply of DVDs.
KITCHEN & DINING
The well-equipped kitchen features stainless steal appliances and ample counter space to create meals. Sip morning coffee at the breakfast bar with seating for four. Enjoy home-cooked meals together at the dining room table set for 8.
BEDROOMS & BATHS
This home sleeps 12 people and is approx 1,500 sq feet. Two full and one half-bath are each stocked with a complimentary starter supply of bath amenities.
All bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom is outfitted with a king-size bed and a deluxe full sofa bed, 42” TV with cable, and closet. The en-suite bath features a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed, a twin over twin bunk bed, and a closet. The third bedroom features a twin bed. The second bath includes a tub/shower combination. There is also a deluxe queen sofa bed in the living area (downstairs).
OUTDOOR AREA
Grab a cold beverage, fire up the grill, and discover ultimate relaxation. The back door opens to a rear patio overlooking trees and wildlife. The patio is complete with a dining table and chairs, and lounge area featuring 5 adarondack chairs, hot tub, outside water rinse off area and a grill. Enjoy private access to a paved bike/walking path that leads to dunes/beach, community room, and town and more.
EXTRA AMENITIES
Bikes (5) and beach gear including boogie boards, sand boards, toys, chairs, umbrellas, kites. All located in the garage.
Shorepine Village amenities include a clubhouse featuring an entertainment area, billiard table, grill, and picnic tables. A shared pool is located at the Cape Kiwanda Market about a half mile down the road.

Summary: Fit the bill for the 6 of us (2 adults and 5 teens). Great proximity to Kawanda and Pacific City but Kitchen is very basic and nothing is provided (condiments, basics etc). Lots of extras in the garage but all have seen their day (chairs, bikes etc). So would recommend to bring your own. For us it was great proximity to beach (but the hill to get back is no joke and beds that were comfortable - kids enjoyed hottub.

Summary: Despite a minor hiccup with the check in process, we enjoyed our stay immensely. The amenities (bikes, boogie boards, beach towels, kites, hot tub, beach chairs, etc.), location, comfort of the home and beds were top notch! We’ve rented up and down the coast, and for our family of 6 this was our favorite so far. It has a cozy atmosphere and feels like a HOME. Games, books, movies, a well stocked kitchen. Pacific City has it all, great beach, cape Kiwanda, dunes, small town feel without being too far off the beaten path. So many things to do, see and explore.

Summary: The house is designed exceptionally well for travelling families. We were all comfortable and enjoyed every moment we had there. DON'T WORRY THAT IT ISN'T RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The whole area is designed so well that you feel nestled against the shoreline. You have to walk for 1 min to take in the breathtaking views of the ocean. The majority of the houses for rent on the beach (if not all of them) don't hold a candle to this beautiful home. It is so well appointed that you find yourself constantly saying, "oh they already have that here." I would stay here again and again without fail.

Summary: We really enjoyed the layout of the house. There was plenty of room for us, a family of 4 grown teenagers and 4 adults. The family room, dining room and kitchen were all tucked away at the back of the house. It meant that we could all enjoy each other's company no matter what was going on. We had specifically planned to be there over Thanksgiving so it was great that we could be cooking in the kitchen, listening to the kids play games and every one could be involved in the conversation. The walk to the beach was easy. I have to share with you that our family recently suffered a horrible tragedy. We lost my youngest son to a drowning in Colorado only a few months ago and we decided that this Thanksgiving needed to be special. That is how we ended up at the rental. It was healing time for us as well it created a new memory for us. We all agreed that it may become a "new" tradition for us in remembrance of our dear beloved Michael. Thank you.
