Summary: We spent a very happy few days at Alison’s beautiful house, the perfect base to explore Salisbury and the surrounding area. Upon arrival it was spotlessly clean and smelled AMAZING! The house has everything you could need with a stunning kitchen. There was no TV downstairs, but this provided us with a welcome break from our normal routine. Both bedrooms we’re comfortable and well-equipped. We used the front larger room and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds ever. The weather was very mild and the room did get warm, so we did have to sleep with the window open. This resulted in a fair bit of road noise, but we did get used to it. An electric fan would be really useful during the warm summer months perhaps. In summary, a well-equipped, beautiful home just a 10 minute walk from the town centre. The home has a lovely feel to it and we really didn’t want to leave.
