Summary: When you stay here you have to allow for an old building with old plumbing etc. the parking is excellent, location second to none, easy walk to the town, and the breakfast, make sure you don’t miss it, Would I recommend it, omg yes but don’t expect 5 star but do expect lovely staff, history all about you and memories that will last a lifetime

Summary: This was a unique opportunity to spend a night within the cathedral close. My room within the college is used as student accommodation from time to time, although when the student use is quiet, the rooms are opened up to the general public. My single room was basic but with a comfy bed and en-suite facilities and it was lovely and quiet. It was such a treat to stay in this historic property for a night. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of cereals, pastries, hot breakfast options and fruit

Summary: Ok, let me be clear. You don't stay here if you expect "high end" living. The beds are conformable but rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast is all right. You choose this for the historic feel and the sorrundings. Amazing! Expect to live in an historic house and an old institution, with all that comes with that. People are very friendly and the atmosphere is "old school" nice.

Summary: The room was shabby and the carpet in very bad condition. Paintwork chipped. Simply said run down. For the price charged it was poor. The breakfast was excellent. 9.30 check out too early.
