Positive: The view was stunning and the porch is magnificent. It's a tiny home and honestly it never felt like it! Perfect for a little getaway and super affordable! Craig was also fantastic and had the place stocked with snacks, spices, and various coffee flavors which is something I very much appreciate! Craig is the best!

Positive: The location was super convenient to everything I wanted or needed to do in and around Marshall and was twenty odd minutes from Asheville. The views were absolutely lovely from the back porch and we did breakfast out there most mornings. One afternoon, from some hill nearby, bluegrass music was being played and it made for an unexpected little concert which was nice! Instructions for everything from the tv to the gas tabletop fire strip on the back porch to the stove top and more were provided. We had no trouble finding anything within the cabin. The rungs to the ladder and hand holds to the loft were comfortably spaced so there was no having to carefully feel around for the next one or feel like I was at risk for falling.

Negative: I learned quickly the proper technique for ascending and descending the ladder to the bed in the loft. Only took one bonk of my head against the ceiling to know to keep my head down. Sitting in the middle of the bed, the top of my head brushed the ceiling, so crawling into bed and scooting out of bed were necessary, but after long days of exploring the area, that's about all I had the energy for anyway. The ladder rungs were a bit rough on bare feet with their anti-slip texturing but that's nothing going up or coming down in shoes didn't take care of!

Summary: Super convenient place with a great back porch and really nice views! Can recommend!
