Positive: Great location and amenities, and the kitchen has all the necessary utensils

Negative: Not easy to connect with the owner. Part of that is my fault being unable to get a calling app or Dutch SIM card to work, but really there should be an easier way as I ran into other folks who rented at this complex and they had the same problem. No answer from emails or the Booking.com secure messaging in terms of setting a time to meet for the key transfer. The next-door neighbor smokes and that can seep into the apartment.

Positive: Monique waited for us when we arrived. She is a very kind person, explained us everything and walked us through the studio. The accommodation is a cozy and clean place, very close to the city center. The place is comfortable and well equipped; we liked it very much and will return again for sure.

Negative: Nothing to highlight. Everything was nice and clean.

Positive: Very comfortable apartment. Well equipped with everything you could need. 5 minutes walk from the centre of Middelburg. The owner even had bikes for us to hire at a very reasonable price.

Positive: Lots of space, good cooking facilities, a private area suitable for keeping a bike and a very friendly host

Negative: I ran out of toilet paper close to the end but I feel I could've contacted the host for more if needed. The room is on the ground floor so I had the curtains pulled most of the time, blinds that allow light would've been nice just so I could be more comfortable about people not looking in while still getting light. As the property is a conversion there is a door to what is now a separate apartment that goes upstairs, it is locked and isn't a privacy concern but it does make the walls a little thin and I was concerned I may be disturbing the neighbours and occasionally you can hear the neighbours too.
