Positive: Friendly welcome. Beautifully converted barn. Clean and smelling deliciously of solid wood furniture. Stylish. Lovely welcome hamper. Came to Ormskirk with my mum to see old friends. We feel very lucky that we found Stuarts farm as our accommodation for this. Perfectly placed and felt like a retreat.

Positive: it was relaxing and comfortable.

Negative: The swimming pool was a disappointment and little bit tired looking. The water was cold and only 1.3mtr deep so not really able to swim in it. we had to request a time slot to use the pool it wasn’t easy access, we needed to wait for someone to open a gate and we were permitted entry. Permission to use was for 2 hours only. In all honesty we didn’t feel that the pool should not be offered The property had a hot water tap but we didn’t feel like it made a really hot drink. As regards the hot tub, it was great for a couple but would be a tight squeeze for a group.

Summary: Nice relaxing weekend but wouldn’t return.
