Summary: We came across this place purely by chance, as we had a day in hand while driving across the state and were simply looking for somewhere with an outdoor pool for some R&R. What a find, and rather better than some random Hampton Inn!!! It's a beautiful place and even us jaded Brits were impressed with the historic house, the decor and the setting. The hosts were attentive and friendly but, with no other guests there, we really felt we had the place to ourselves. Would highly recommend.

Summary: This is a beautiful property both outside and in. The proprietors were friendly and respectful. The pool and patio with the surrounding gardens are very peaceful and relaxing. The house is well insulated for noise. We didn’t know there were 6 other people staying there until we met them in the dinning room for a delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and, have already told our family and friends to stay there when traveling in the area.

Summary: The property at Stuart Manor is amazing. Beautiful restored home, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, wonderful breakfast, and such nice owners that make you feel at home. My favorite place to stay when I'm visiting family in Carlisle.

Summary: If you are looking for a b&b in the Carlisle area look no further. For starters, Russel the host is squared away, he immediately made us feel at home. The property is magnificent, from the patio/pool area to the beautiful views surrounding the the home. The room was beautiful and super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal, you will not be disappointed. Our next trip to Carlisle we will be returning.

Summary: Russell went out of his way to make our stay perfect. We’ve never stayed at a B&B but now I’m converted and will only stay at one now! The home was beautiful, the grounds phenomenal, breakfast was delish and perfect. I’d 100% recommend this place!
