Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our room (apartment) looked out across the fields (peaceful), was spacious and relaxing and with castle character. Renata and David were great hosts. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Summary: What a treat to stay in a Scottish castle. It was located in a very convenient place for our visit. As we didn't have time to visit St Andrews the food and drink provided in the en suite kitchen for the breakfast were much appreciated. We enjoyed the short walk to Dunino church.

Summary: I was in Scotland for 17 days, and this was my favorite hotel due to its uniqueness and the hospitality of the owner. I only wish I was able to stay longer than one night! The place is easiest reached via a car, but you can get there via a bus. (I was traveling without a car.).

Summary: This characterful and unique property was just as pictured in an ideal setting and very convenient for St Andrews which is approx 4 miles away. Each room is completely self contained - so no access to, or need for, communal rooms. Breakfast is provided in your own kitchen and contains a wide variety of options. Our room was vast and offered access directly onto the well maintained grounds. Being so self contained it would have been ideal for those wishing to bring their dog but unfortunately the property does not accept dogs as we subsequently discovered... otherwise our rating would have been an overall excellent for the setting, welcome, service and value for money...

Summary: Oh my gosh, this place is a hidden gem. The pictures do NOT do it justice at all!! We were blown away by our accommodations when we arrived. First, we were just expecting a bedroom and bathroom. We got a lovely kitchen, a sitting room, giant bedroom, and a bathroom. They also provided a lovely breakfast spread each morning. Not only were we blown away by our accommodations, the entire castle is just stunning! Staying here was absolutely a highlight for us for a week long trip around Scotland. We will definitely return! Also, the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating! It is only a short bus ride into town and you can flag down the bus from the driveway. Don’t second guess, just book!

Summary: The owner was friendly and offers great ideas of places nearby to see. Breakfast was continental, provided for us as self serve in our room. That was really nice as we had coffee when we wanted it and could move as quickly or slowly as we wished in the morning.
