Positive: The property was newly renovated and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Love how everything was provided, clean linen , towels. The decks was equipped with bbq and gas firepit ,kept us warm during the cold .. lights on the deck gave an amazing vibes .. amazing property

Negative: This review is specifically for Cottage 11. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi available during our stay, even though it was listed in the amenities. When we informed the owner, we were told there was no range in that cottage and it would only be available after a week. Cottage 11 is located right next to camper vans where others stay, and it directly faces the owner’s camper van, which makes it feel like you’re staying in one yourself. The BBQ grill isn’t placed on the deck, so cooking feels like you’re out on the street. There’s not much privacy — someone from the owner’s camper van, which faces the cottage, sat outside and watched us the entire time we used the grill on the first day. It was uncomfortable. We also had hot water issues on day two. The owner came by and tried to fix it, but it wasn’t fully resolved. The bathroom door got jammed, though the owner was responsive and handed us tools so we could fix it ourselves quickly. There were spider webs on the stair railings and in the bathrooms, and the toilet wasn’t clean when we arrived. I’ve seen the owner reply to other reviews saying guests should let them know if something’s not clean — but that’s not really how hosting should work. When we book a place, we expect it to be clean and ready so we don’t have to deal with fixing things during our stay.

Positive: A modern kitchen was available. Interior nicely renovated, with air condition. Location 20 minutes drive from the 401, directly on lake Ontario with a small marina.

Negative: WIFI available, but connection did not reach our cottage.

Summary: It is like a resort. Photo shows reflection of the sunrise on the cottage door.

Positive: The cottage was impeccably clean and updated and beautiful. It was cold for the first 2 nights and was worried we”d be cold however the heating system was fabulous! Granite counter tops were a nice added bonus.
