Summary: Always a great stay with lots of different room “suites” to choose from. We did the Bicycle suite this time, a charming 2 level room

Summary: My error was picking this "girlie boutique" type hotel: I thought my wife would like it but she wasn't a fan either. The hotel lacks an elevator and a fire escape. The wood ceiling is unknown as to its fire resistance. The continental breakfast is missing items like eggs and sausages. It is definitely "creative" -- making a hotel in an old grain mill but it lacked the sort of things I look for in a hotel (I'm 74 and Deb is 69). The stairway to the floor that our room was on was steep and the tread depth of about 6 inches made climbing it difficult. Our room was tiny and the sink in the bedroom instead of the bathroom was an oddity. The bed could use reading laps on both sides instead of just one and there was no clock in the room.

Summary: Annie was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was great, and coffee, including decaf, was always available. The room was clean, quiet, and distinct from the others. Plenty of parking in front, on the side (street), or in back. Nice areas to sit and relax in front or on the breakfast room, with board games provided. I love that the policy is no pets! Just one thing to keep in mind if you don't do stairs well- the upper rooms have a bit of a steep rise on the stairs. Loved the ambiance of the Stone Mill. There is an old auger in the Grain room, and there is the old pulley for an elevator that is no longer there, and the stone walls makes you feel like you're in a castle. We'll be back!

Summary: Had a nice stay, in the Amish Room. We could park right next to our room, breakfast was fine, good coffee in a pleasant room. Great location, walk to shops and to the Art in the Park.

Summary: The TV didn't and the staff knew about it, tells me they don't care. Took a long time to get warm water in shower.

Summary: Location at the heart of everything happening in town yet at the end of the street so very quiet too. The staff was excellent and so very personable. We especially enjoyed meeting and visiting with employees Heather and Bobby. They are super people and have excellent customer service skills. A real asset to Stone Mills business.

Summary: The bed on the main level was hard and uncomfortable. It either needs a new mattress or a nice, padded mattress cover.
