Summary: The Root River Retreat was a very comfortable place to stay. From the welcoming of homebaked cookies to the comfort of the couch and bed, this place was a great home base for our visit with family in SE Minnesota. Great location and convenient to find. Parking was easy with a dedicated driveway space. Garage to store things if needed during your stay. Kitchenette had enough for us to function well. Would stay again and would recommend for others.

Summary: This place was comfortable ans easily accessible for fiding and parking. Be aware that there is no kitchen. They have a small fridge and a microwave in the living room. Also a few dishes and silverware. If you are planning to eat out, it works. It has a super big TV, with free movies on all the apps. The beds are comfy. You can adjust the heat to your liking. And there is plenty of outdoor fun to be had.
