Positive: I’ve never started a review this way before, but here goes. If you are lucky enough to find Stolios Apartments available to you at the time you want to visit, BOOK IT NOW. You won’t regret it! These are the words that best describe the accommodations: Traditional, delightful, enchanting, with breath-taking views and beautiful gardens. The place itself is amazing with its old-style Greek charm, but still has all the modern conveniences you’ll need. That in itself would be plenty, but that was not the best part of our stay. The hosts George and Debi are incredible and were the most fantastic part of our visit. George met us as we got off the ferry and we were grateful to follow him up to the lodging which was quite a ways up the mountain and seemed a bit confusing. Debi was waiting for us and greeted us warmly. We sat at a table on their charming courtyard as George showed us on a map the highlights of Skopelos as we ate a delicious apple cake served by Debi. When we were shown to our room we were blown away by the huge patio with amazing views of the Aegean Sea. The room was very comfy and roomy, and we had a bottle of wine and cookies awaiting us. Every morning Debi served us a nice breakfast which we appreciated. We were the last guests for the season along with another couple in the adjoining room, so perhaps that’s why George and Debi felt the need to invite us to their home on the property and served us a traditional Greek meal? When we left the following morning they had small bon voyage gifts which we were touched by. They go above and beyond being hospitable, and we will forever remember George and Debi who helped make our stay there so memorable!

Negative: We stayed in mid October. Much of the island was already closed for the season.

Positive: The apartment is gorgeous with some of the best views I have ever seen! George and Elly - above and beyond doesn't even cover it!! Beautiful "surprise" breakfast every morning and very responsive helping with anything and everything (ferry advice, car hire, restaurant recommendations, hikes and day trip ideas). The apartment was comfortable, spotless and had all listed amenities. Can't wait to come back next time! Thanks George and Elly 😊

Positive: When I was choosing accommodation, I came across Stolios and was intrigued as to how it is possible, that despite so many reviews it has a rating 10. We were lucky enough to book 5 nights and realize that it is necessary to introduce a rating 11 for Stolios. Wonderful, attentive hosts, peace, an apartment that is impeccably maintained and cleaned every day, a beautiful view with the most magical sunrises... All this made it possible to say that this was, by far, the best stay ever. George and Debbie, thank you for everything! See you again soon! Sinisa and Milica ❤

Positive: One of the best place that we stayed ever in our hollydays in Greece. We stayed at the Erato apartment, a family with 2 boys, 8 and 13 yrs old. Skopelos was our 6th vacation and here we met the best ever facilities. Very clean property on the top of a hill and the service is by far the best we've met ever. George and Debi are very nice hosts and they will surprise you all the time during your stay. The view is gorgeous, you'll miss it, be sure. In conclusion, probably is one of the best place to have a wonderfull and quiet vacation, with a perfect view and host.

Negative: Just be aware that the property is on uphill. Without a car or a scooter, it is quite difficult to arrive here or to went out for a walk in the town.

Positive: We can’t even begin to describe how special our stay at Stolios was. George and his wife made us feel like family from the moment we met them. Throughout our whole stay they would help us in all kinds of situations and give us the best recommendations for must do’s and see’s on the island. The apartment such as the rest of the property was just perfect, very cozy, clean, offering everything we needed plus breathtaking views over the aegan sea. We absolutely loved the peace and quietness Stolios offered. Stolios is perfectly located with just a 10 minute drive to the town and most beaches. We also loved the delicious homemade food that came as a surprise now and then (polý nóstimo). A big plus was also all the cats and the dog that loved getting pets from us everyday! We never experienced hospitality in such an extend before and it definitely made leaving Skopelos hard. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Skopelos and we are already planning our next trip to visit Skopelos but mainly Stolios!! EFCHARISTÓ POLÝ GIA ÓLA❣️❣️

Positive: Everything: the view, the overall building, the gardens, the terraces, the amazing apartment and especially the hosts! Everything was perfect and extremely clean

Negative: To reach beaches or villages you always need to use a scooter or a car and to drive through a steep and not comfortable road, but this is the price to pay for extreme peace and breathtaking views!

Positive: We liked the wonderful views from our balcony. George and Debi were fantastic hosts. The apartment was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We hired a scooter and the apartment was a great location to visit the island from.

Negative: There was nothing that we did not like about our stay.
