Negative: Just really minor things - we didn’t realize we would be sharing a bathroom, and the door to our room squeaked badly which meant I was worried using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

You went out of your way to make sure my dietary restrictions were thoughtfully accommodated — and the breakfasts were simply perfect! It was such a pleasure to wake up and enjoy a meal prepared with so much care. — it meant a lot to me and allowed me to relax and fully enjoy my time. The room was absolutely perfect — peaceful, spotless, and so comfortable. But above all, it was your generosity of spirit and good energy that made my stay unforgettable. Positive: Excellent breakfast. Great location for walking by the water, lovely old homes and restaurants

Negative: Check website of guesthouse b4 booking.2 rooms have private bath. Two others share a bath. Be very aware if using 3rd party booking. No air conditioning. Only fan. Very hot as old house. Parking possible but very tight. Room had large dust bunnies under bed.

Positive: We loved the old world charm yet clean and renovated. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room was comfortable. The bed fabulous. I could of stayed there all morning. The patio was nice for the cool night air. We enjoyed the living space and watched a movie one night. All in all a great stay. We will be back!

Negative: We were told we had a shared bathroom. It would of been nice to have a few comments as too whether an other guest was there. It felt a bit awkward not knowing if I could keep my things in the bath or remove them after use. Also, would be nice to have common use hand towels at sink for handwashing. Again. Knowing if there were other guests sharing would of been helpful. No one wants to use another persons towel. Or perhaps hooks for each room number for hanging towels. Also, instructions on turning the bath water on the tub at the floor would of been helpful.. the faucet did not turn on.. maby a sign by the tub. I understand the quirky ways of an old house as I live in one too. So I figured it out. These little things become big ones if you can't get the water to come on to bath. Also, I ran out of hot water in the shower after 3 minutes. Barely got my hair rinsed and it went stone cold. A more comfortable chair in the bedroom would of been nice for lounging . The lack of air conditioning would also be an issue for me if we had hot weather. So it won't be a place I can stay in the heat of summer.

Positive: Everything was wonderful during our stay at Stirling house. Eron anticipated our arrival with an open door, hearty and warm welcome. Stirling house is an open, light and stylishly furnished property. We felt comfortable and at home. The location is excellent and Kelowna’s heritage area able to be explored on foot which was delightful. Oh the sunset. Breakfast was delicious, generous and obviously served with love. We enjoyed meeting a Canadian couple and chatting. We really appreciated how private it felt and how Eron made it so seamless. Will highly recommend to others. Thanks you 😊 Natasha and Max.
