Positive: The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped with both shower and bath. Bad Hall is the nearest place of interest and eateries. The kitchen was well-equipped with hob, oven, fridge and microwave. Steyr is a bit further afield and the Benedictine monastery at Kremsmunster. The location is very much one from which to travel out in exploration of the local region.

Negative: The lady who greeted us was most pleasant and helpful which compensated for the fact that the access instructions are not very useful as they do not indicate where the front door to the apartment is to be found in a large block, nor the number of the door, leading to a random search for someone to help.... The apartment is fitted with modern furnishings in large rooms, but the furniture and design are not the most convenient or thoughtful! My bedroom, for example, was equipped with 7 power points for very efficient use of multiple electrical gadgets if I travelled with such numbers, but only two uncomfortable pillows which obstructed a comfortable night's sleep. There was also a disproportionately large closet which could have housed an ensuite shower! The other bedroom featured a desk with no chair, a wall-cupboard in a most awkward position and an outsized standard lamp that needlessly occupies a lot of space. The kitchen lacked a simple toaster and sported only two bowls for breakfast cereal amidst a mass of plates and glasses. The wifi struggled to cope with smart tv streaming: the two tv's were each in the bedrooms and not in the lounge. There is not a lot in Adlwang itself. So, in summary, the haphazard nature of the equipment, layout and furnishings and the poor access instructions.

Summary: We enjoyed our short stay but there's room to make the apartment more comfortable & convenient.

Positive: The host is very friendly and responded immediately when we had any questions. The apartment was quite clean when we arrived.

Negative: The shower and toilette are in the same room. Also, there was neither AC nor a fan in the rooms, in hot summer, you had to open the windows and you hear road noise (since the property is located on the main street). Place a fan in those rooms, this would by the way would surely enhance the property features.

Summary: Recommend for people who do not mind driving for 1 to 2 hours in one direction for tourist locations

Positive: The apartment was modern and super clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It's about a 40 minute drive to Lake Gmunden from the apartment. Our host, Romana, was so kind and communicative. Check-in, parking, and everything went so smoothly. If we ever travel to this area again, we would definitely stay here.
