Positive: The bed was comfy. Things were clean and tidy. Very comfortable apartment.

Negative: Just the direction can be a bit more clearer. I couldn't find the entrance to get into the building as there were too many doors

Positive: I’m so grateful I found this place. I had surgery a week earlier and needed help carrying my heavy luggage, so I asked the hostess, Leah, if there was someone I could hire. When I arrived, she was already waiting — and she carried everything herself, refusing to let me pay her. I was hours early and she was in the middle of cleaning, yet she welcomed me in with water and told me to rest. Her kindness felt like family. The house looked newly renovated, and everything was spotless. The kitchen in particular looked brand new — the appliances, water purifier, stove, utensils, and refrigerator/freezer space were all in excellent condition. My room had a double bed, nightstand, vanity, two chairs, room-darkening curtains, and all toiletries provided. The bathroom had plenty of towels, shampoo, and soap with a typical Korean-style shower setup. The neighborhood is quiet and residential but just a short walk to restaurants and shops, and taxis and buses were easy to reach. For the price, the value was excellent. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and run by someone genuinely kind — I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Korea.

Positive: • very charming and comfortable • it was cold in the city when I went, but the accomodation was nicely heated • my room was spacious and well-furnished for my needs • all facilities were well-labeled and information was provided in Korean and English • shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided • the host is very lovely and kind!

Negative: • it’s a little bit out of the way from the Seoul city centre, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to do a lot of shopping in that area! still very easy to get where you want to go and i had no issues with public transport (also plenty of stuff to do around gangnam) • shower is handle-style on the wall, so you can’t stand under it

Positive: Leah the host was extremely welcoming and came everyday to clean the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Room was large with an excellent desk for remote working. The kitchen is well appointed for those who wish to cook their own meals and there is a 24 hour small supermarket down the road with an excellent wine selection. The apt is a basement apt located on a quiet street so nice and quiet but there is not a lot of natural light.

Negative: It wasn't clear on booking.com that this is actually a three bedoom apt and each room is rented out individually - so it is more like a mini hostel (or bed & breakfast, minus the breakfast) with a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room. Be aware that you will likely be sharing the apt with others.
