Negative: Complicated process to retrieve key. Check out time advertised as 11am but messaged that check out was 10am with no reason or apology given for change in time.

Positive: The apartment is just above the Milton Keynes Train Station. Extremely convenient from a location point of view. Very good transport links. Lots of coffee shops, eating joints at the station. Event newsagents, Premier shop, etc. The property is very nicely furnished and well maintained. Very comfortable for short stays.

Negative: The instructions to locate the key weren’t clear. The location was difficult to find in the dark. The property overall was clean. But the toilet hadn’t been flushed after last use. So question the cleaning efficiency. The wash basin in the toilet is not working. After use the water takes a long time to drain. It needs to be fixed. The door handle of the door to the living room, came off. Needs to be repaired. Though I had paid for late checkout, the cleaner came in at 12 and was asking me to move out. But the owner was easy to contact and sorted things quickly.

Summary: Apartment at an excellent location. Very well done up. But needs to be maintained well. Will stay here again.

Negative: Apartment could do with some TLC, all walls marked and grubby, sofa stained and cigarette burns, kitchen lights faulty. No hot water early in morning. Difficult communication to get booking in process, only sent details 15mins before check in.

Positive: Apartment has lots of potential. Good size, kitchen and sitting room nice.

Negative: Attention to detail lacking. Kitchen tools missing, bathroom soaps etc all empty. No hand towels. No live TV due to no licence. Very sneaky by not advertising this. Location was a little rough outside.

Negative: The process to get the apartment key is incredibly complicated. First you have to pick up the key in a DHL locker shop. To do so you get two codes by whatsapp, one to enter the DHL shop and the other to open a key box. The latter however did not work properly, so I had to phone and to wait for assistance. The key includes a batch so that you can enter the office building, that is 100 yd away, and search for your apartment. It must be added that neither the DHL shop nor the office building show the least sign or hint of the existence of the apartments. The office building even got a reception, however they have no idea of the apartments, either. It is an access process for IT freaks, but indeed it is hard to understand and time consuming. The apartment itself was nice.
