Lovingly restored while retaining its historic features, the house offers a rare opportunity to stay in a piece of railway history. Original elements such as ticket booths are still visible, and the terrace occupies the former platform, perfect for enjoying drinks or relaxing while taking in the surroundings.
The house is ideal for families, with a large heated swimming pool (16x4m) added two years ago, a tree house with zipline, and a wide selection of toys and games. Additional outdoor activities include ping pong and badminton. Modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and Amazon Echo ensure a comfortable stay, blending classic charm with today’s needs. The pool is available from mid-June to the end of September.

Summary: Ankunft mit Hindernissen sonst schön wunderschönes Haus

Summary: De woning en zijn directe omgeving sprak direct aan. De wijde open omgeving langs de ene kant van de woning en toch enorm veel privacy door de bomen en struiken langs de 'perron' zijde. De manier waarop het stationsgebouw werd gerenoveerd met het behouden van al de oorspronkelijke elementen is knap. Zwembad, bomen, hangmatten ... er was gewoon alles. Het blijft uiteraard een gebouw van een goede eeuw oud :) De afvoer van de douche was ook in verlof en had wel wat tijd nodig om het water af te voeren. Maar dat was voor ons dan ook het enigste minpunt. Anja en Kurt

Summary: Mooie ligging, mooi huis en heerlijk zwembad. Alle keukenspullen voor een heerlijk diner. Super veel kinderspeelgoed voor in het zwembad en in huis. Sommige materiaal is wat verouderd, zoals het gasstel en de oven en de muren zijn zeer dun, maar de plek en het huis zijn heerlijk ongedwongen.

Summary: De omgeving is geweldig. Het huis is ruim en charmant. Het heeft de nodige voorzieningen. Pluspunt: veel (buiten) speelgoed en boeken aanwezig. Het ontvangst was warm en sympathiek. Jammer genoeg is het niet erg grondig gepoetst (veel stof- en spinnenwebben, stof op sommige kasten, groot tapijt in woonkamer niet gestofzuigd (> hondenharen en kruimels)). De grotere oppervlaktes zijn wel gepoetst, badkamer en toiletten zijn ook netjes. Het verwarmde zwembad blijkt ook net problemen te hebben met opwarmen waardoor het nu zwemmen is in water van 19 - 20 graden. Redelijk koud voor jonge kinderen en bij buitentemperaturen van ongev. 22 graden. Dit was voor ons net de doorslag om midden september dit huis te boeken. Midden in de zomer zal dit minder storend zijn geweest.
