Whether an adventure enthusiast or one who simply seeks a restful retreat this cozy hideaway fills the bill. Eight minutes to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and ten minutes from Soco Falls, the area abounds with hiking trails, waterfalls, astonishing long range views and wildlife viewing. Fireflies blanket the valley in summer, where elk may be seen foraging in valley pastures at dawn and dusk.
The large studio apartment is designed for function and comfort; with easy year round access it includes a King bed, smart TV, WiFi and charging stations. A restful space with ample light for work or dining at the table and room darkening curtains to assure peaceful sleep. The kitchenette offers all you need to prepare simple meals in house; sink, mini fridge, induction cooktop, Ninja Oven (air fryer, toaster oven), toaster, Keurig coffeemaker and service for four. The rustic en-suite bath is equipped with a large shower / tub.
Walk to the famous Joey’s Pancake House for breakfast and take a beverage or meal break later by Jonathan Creek on the deck of Bearwaters Brewing, both a five minute walk. In the evening wander down to Legends bar and grill for Karaoke most nights. Keep your eyes peeled for elk! Summary: We had an amazing time here. This property is undersold if anything. They have appliances like a 2 burner counter top stove, toaster oven, Keurig and hot pot for tea. Everything was stocked and they had snacks laid out. We really enjoyed our stay here!!!

Summary: This was perfect for my daughter and I. We visited WCU and went shopping and hiking in the surrounding towns.The owners supplied snacks which were perfect at the end of the day. We had everything we needed, and then some.

Summary: Absolutely perfect for my duration of the stay. Very convenient to multiple areas surrounding Maggie Valley as well as very quiet and peaceful. The rental was very clean and in a perfect setting while also providing the necessities needed for your stay. Nancy the host was great and communicated well on the check in-check out process which was straight forward and easy. Thanks again for everything! Would definitely reserve the rental for future stays..

Summary: My wife and I enjoy spending a night in Western NC after spending a beach trip with our kids and grandkids. We were going to be in Folly Beach, so we were fortunate to find Starswept Studio for our return trip home! The place was wonderful, and Nancy was great with her communication. We will definitely be back for more than one night the next time!

Summary: Great spot! We enjoyed this extremely well stocked and appointed studio - a very comfortable hideaway. Exceeded what we were really expecting. Located in a quaint area, and we found the ability to walk to restaurants and brewery right up our alley after doing some hikes and sightseeing. The location is in between Waynesville (nice, folksy downtown options) and Cherokee (Casino and Smokies gateway) so an easy drive to either while having your own private haven to return to. Perfect getaway for us. Nancy was available if needed, but everything is so well organized there was no need other than to spend time to say hello.
