Positive: A delightful stay at the sweet Starlight Shepard's hut was whimsical and peaceful. The space is small but very efficient. The pull down king bed was super comfortable. The country area with adjacent horse pasture was lovely and quiet. Chocolate cocoa, teas and amazing lotions and soaps were provided. The host was wonderful - available but not intrusive. We enjoyed our time here immensely and would highly recommend.

Negative: There was nothing we did not like. Just a note - the place is small so don't bring lot of luggage or over-size bags. We were able to manage fine with our 2 suitcases but anyone with larger or more bags would have a challenge navigating the physical space and access to a large suitcase.

Summary: Unique, whimsical and peaceful place to be.

Positive: it was beautiful, cozy and warm. the host was very generous and had fresh eggs, milk & sourdough for us! super easy for checking in, even on late arrival. loved it so much :)

Positive: All I needed was a comfy bed and a shower. What I got was a very comfy bed and a great shower, plus more peace and quiet than you could ever hope for.

Negative: Having no TV was great, but I was a little disappointed the radio did not work

Positive: Sheppard's hut was brilliant. It had very luxurious hand soaps and shower soaps to use which were a nice addition. Our rate also included a do it your self breakfast and I have to say for some one who doesn't usually like granola it was gorgeous, the eggs and yogurt were also lovely 😍. I will definitely stay here again and thanks for all the treats that were in the hut on arrival! The hut served as a really nice base to explore the Cotswolds and Oxford. The trout and the tadpole pub just around the corner also served fantastic food!

Negative: only very minor comments, Couldn't get the table to fold away so was a bit cumbersome to move in order to get the bed out but that's probably because I couldn't work it out. However, it was nice to be able to fold the bed away as it gives you a lot more space then other huts I have stayed in. The radio didn't seem to be working either.
