Positive: The building itself. How comfy the bed was. How clean the property was. I loved it was one of the best in terms of the hotel room, views and location.

Negative: The advertised room the photos make the lounge area look seperate to ths bedroom but thats not the case its one room. Breakfast although nice, not service you would expect. Shoild be made to order. Service day 1 in breakfast was great Service day 2 was rubbish To say it waa my birthday on the saturday most hotels would give you complimentry wine or a card nothing from stanbrook.

Positive: Fantastic building , lots of history and very well kept Grounds.Dinner in the bar was good. Staff were very pleasant.

Negative: Breakfast was a little dissapointing, quite bland and limited buffet choice. During our stay the weather was very hot and the room had portable AC, which was very noisy although essential.
