Positive: Gorgeous cottage, very cute old building tastefully modernised located deep in the country surrounded by fields and forest with great walking trails on the doorstep. Effective heating and usable kitchen, great fire stove and complete with a Christmas tree! 🎅

Negative: Low beam with sharp edges led to a sore head, no soap dish in the shower meant balancing shower gel on the door frame. Slow Wi-Fi (Star Link) plus phone black spot - but an O2 sim fixed this. Not great signposting meant finding the cottage was a challenge and the farm track drive is pretty bumpy.

Summary: Gorgeous cottage & location with a few, minor reservations.

Positive: Spotlessly clean. Beautiful property great facilities and good hosts. Weather was terrible so we spent more time indoors than we planned but it was a lovely comfortable place to spend time in.

Negative: Lots of footfall all around and quite noisy with the children one evening. It was relatively short lived, so genuinely not a problem, but worth explaining in the description that it’s in the middle of an active stables, so it’s not a surprise for people.

Positive: Lovely, clean property. Nice and quiet, relaxing and as stated in the description. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Negative: No shower gel/shampoo etc in the property. Location made it very difficult to get taxis, comms on that would have been useful before hand to advise on having own car.

Summary: Lovely property and stay. Would recommend for a relaxing country stay.

Positive: Beautiful cottage, very friendly owners. Good beds and top quality sheets on the beds. Nice walks direct from the cottage through the stunning landscape.

Negative: Lack of privacy, inside and outside. There are no doors in the house, except for the small bathrooms. All day long, people are walking, driving and talking (with horses) around the cottage. Unfortunately, not suitable when you look for a silent place...

Positive: Beautiful location, very friendly landlords, accommodation with a lot of detailed tasteful interior. We loved it !

Negative: The blind in our parents sleeping room was not darkening the room. Not so good for long sleeping in. / The other sleeping room is just located next to the stables, the horse riders should try to be a bit less noisy in early mornings.

Summary: A beautiful accommodation. We loved to be there and will hopefully come again.
