Positive: Cecilia was a great host right from the time of booking. You get exactly what is described. We travelled as a group of 5 adults for 1 night stay here while exploring the nature of Norway. We spent the evening around the fire pit, and the early morning views were incredible. The toilet was inside the main house and cecilia made this easy and accessible for us as well as great conversation over teas and coffee in her kitchen in the morning. For those with a sense of adventure and wanting to see the real Norway I would 100% recommend staying here

Positive: Cecilia was a great, generous, very welcoming host! Her house is beautiful. The guest lodging space is clean, waterproof, and warm.

Negative: There is no water, which means no shower, no working sink, no bathroom. You can use the main house sinks pretty easily, but still no shower.

Summary: It sure beat camping in the rain!

Positive: The location is set back in beautiful surroundings. Really enjoyed the amazing scenery and Serenity. 😍 Although, it was situated in a very remote area, the hostess was so accomaditng that it made our stay very enjoyable. We were treated like we were her family. She sorted out our train fares so we could go to the centre of Oslo. The best thing was that she took us to the train station herself to make our trip easier. There is no public transport nearby but the hostess made up for the lack of the transport.

Negative: It is only accessible by car. After our stay we found that had we consulted the hostess before coming we would have saved a lot of money on taxi fares.

Positive: Cecilia was pleasant to interact with. The unit was very clean. Property was away from traffic of roads and quiet and safe at night.

Negative: - NO RUNNING WATER: Pictures and posting are misleading as the kitchenette does have a sink, but it is not functional as there is no drain and the faucet is not hooked up to any running water. We had to obtain water from an outdoor hose on the side of her house. This made it difficult to use the kitchen functionally as we couldn't even really wash our used kitchenware since we couldn't even pour dirty water down as it would have just spilled on the floor. She said it was drinkable but we brought bottled water and used that in case. - Wifi IS NOT available in all areas like posted in the ad. It is only accessible sitting at her front porch, not within the gust suite itself - the "garden" sitting area is shared with the owner and her family which includes young kids - just note to people who are taller; the lower floor of the unit has quite low ceilings. You probably can't stand straight if you are over 5'5"

Positive: It's the coziest, cutest little place. The host was super friendly and the location is super. Everything we needed was available and it was a very suitable stop for us that were looking for a cheap place to spend the night before traveling on early the next day. Good value for money.

Negative: The house is really tiny so we could not stand up straight downstairs, we knew about the biotoilet and accepted this as the prize was accordingly but it's not the most comfortable or luxurious. With small children it would be nice if there would be some sort of security alongside the stairs leading down since my 4 year old fell in the hole down the stairs.
